No, this isn't an A > B thread, not really at least.

Rome had George Karl on his radio show and asked him who he could least afford to lose, Iverson or Anthony. He said neither, that Camby was the most importantplayer on the team.

While I completely agree, it's still pretty funny. That's a question you should probably never answer as a head coach.
 
The correct answer is Carmelo Anthony and that was a stupid question for George Karl to answer.

Well, Camby doesn't need to worry about scoring. In fact, i might even go as far as to say that its one of his last priorities.
Therefore he makes such a big impact on the team, but again u need Melo and Iverson; thats what makes up a team. Manydifferent pieces put together that makes up on cohesive unit that compliments each other (Example: not the Knicks).
 
To say hes the most important player on the time is wrong. If they lost both iverson and melo, could they count on camby to bring them wins?

He was one of my favorite Knicks, great player. But i guess if it wasnt Layden who traded him for trash, Zeke woulda found a way to do so

Instead of choosing Iverson or Melo over the other, and stirring up the media, message boards, and bloggers, he decided to name another valuable player.Coaches do this all this time, I don't know why a lot of you are making a big deal out of it.

I look at it like Iverson and Melo make them competitive- a playoff team.

Camby could put them over the top and bring them a chip because of the things he does. He ain't leading no team to the playoffs and he probably ain'tmaking no all-star team, but he does things that not a lot of players are very good at.
 
U won't find too many Nuggets fans that will disagree. I've said that Camby is the best and most valuable player on this team. Without him we won'tgo anywhere.
