San Diego Chargers superstar linebacker Shaun Phillips was either celebrating Sunday's win over the Indianapolis Colts by partying it up at Hyde last night -- or drinking away the pain of the loss his team is sure to suffer this Sunday at the hands of the New England Patriots. (Not that we're NE fans ... we're just realistic.)

Phillips chatted it up outside the club with Porscha Coleman and "Deal or No Deal" model Claudia Jordan -- a self-professed Pats fan. Shaun's got a better chance of scoring with her than he does against the Patriots.

Eh, what can you say. It's personal time. I have a job, I might have a big project due on monday. I could still go out and party tonight. My bossdoesn't really have a right to say anything about what I do on my free time. Unless I show up late for work with a hangover.

seeing as how the chargers had monday off and have today off, there's nothing wrong with phillips being out.

plus, dude is in los angeles because he's going to be in studio for "jim rome is burning" on espn today.
