state looked sloppy towards the end there. we were up by ten, but kentucky pulled it to 5 to end the half.

jarvis varnado is the leading shot blocker in the nation, and he's showing that tonight. i think he has 4 already. last week, he had 3 blocks in onepossession alone against georgia. unfortunately, we have a couple of injuries tonight. charles rhodes is not 100% and ben hansbrough (yes, tyler's littlebrother) is out with a broken finger.

by the way... i think when espn originally scheduled this game for tv, they probably didn't think that kentucky and state would be combined for 12 lossesalready, lol. we're gonna need a serious turnaround just to make the tourney.

They ran a few plays for Patrick that worked out great up until the end of the play; couple turnovers on the drive-and-dish to Patterson, couple plays thatresulted in blocked shots... gotta finish those plays, man.

i hate that dude...he hit a HUGE 3 last year against us in the SEC tourney after that lane violaiton debacle. we had that @#%+%*$ game in the bag. that win would've probably kept us out of the 8th seed we got and we wouldn't have had to play Kansas in the second round.
