in their system. I mean they can take a so-so back and make him really good. If they took a really good back....yikes.

I'm not sure if I like the Packers pick... Donald Lee is just fine, I say maybe go for a safety? But I'm not sure if there are any worth while firstround-value safeties in this draft... Gunna?

Kenny Phillips is all, and he's going way to high . No one else worthy of getting picked up in the 1st 2 rounds.

wait til the 7th round and pick up Tommy Zbikowski

The safeties this year are absolutely terrible.

Kenny Phillips and Reggie Smith (not sure whether he'll play CB or S) are the only two withfirst day talent.

Chris Johnson ...

because come combine time. His numbers will be thru the roof.
Timed at 10.62 in the 100-meter sprint ... Ran anchor leg on fastest 4x100 relay team in the nation and won Golden South and Golden West national titles in track.
He has ran faster times than that sa far as i know.

Thats what they said about frank gore..
How did Frank Gore a ton of miles on his leg??? from riding the stationary bike? Ray Rice had more carries this season probably then Frank had inhis career. But I definetly see why you mentioned him.

Dont qute me on this but I believe franchise deal is the franchised player gets paid the avg salary of the top 5 highest paid at his position.
i believe that's correct as well.

Dre to the Bears? i can live with that. he'll have some nice targets with Berrian and Olsen. and for whoever asked if Dre's that good...i thinkhe'll be a good NFL QB, he's got all the tools, but somewhat of a slow release. He manages the game extremely well and very, very rarely makesmistakes unlike Gross Rexman. He did lead the SEC in passing the last two seasons.

but damn, the NFL is a whole new monster that just eats up QBs.

The best S in the draft....Is a young man by the name of Roger Williams...He was always on Sportscenter when they covered FSU.....

Best coverage S in the Draft....Guaranteed.....

as a raiders fan I want Dorsey, we dont really need McFadden if Fargas wasnt a fluke and Rhodes stops gettin high but we cant really afford either of them, we need to trade the pick and build up that o-line

That boy Kenny Moore did my dudes dirty 2 years in a row man....He's the goods though...Go to the league and get his all-purpose on...

Aside from that...Selfishly (for FSU) I hope that they don't let James Davis back in school Davis + Spiller =

But honestly, I hope that he is able tocome back...RB's are deep as %*+# this year and he will be able to possibly go higher next year...

I personally think the Bears should draft a RB in round two or three of the draft. I think Turner would be to risky of a pickup. Last year Ahmad Green signed a4 year 23 million deal which breaks down to 5.75 a year. There is a huge increase in the cap this offseason, you factor in Turner is 25 and has much moreupside and I think your looking at a 7-8 million a dollar deal for Turner and probable a top 10 RB contract in the league. While I like Turner the thing thatscares me is hes never been a full time RB, his career high is 15 carries. I also get worried about backup statistics. On a play like 3rd and 15 instead oftaking a chance in the passing game or getting LT hurt a lot of Turners carries could have been draw plays for 10 yards. I know AP this year had a high averagefor us as the third down RB and once he got in the starting lineup he dropped. There are a lot of guys who have been good in the backup position but not soeffective when given the starting position. Benson looked good last year and not so good this year. Lamont Jordan averaged over 5 when he was with the Jets andhas never averaged over 4 in his three years in Oakland.

I think the line was a major part of the problems in the running game. When you have three RBs who average under 4 its the lines fault. If you look at goodlines multiple players do well. For example the Giants had three guys who averaged over 4.8 including there starter Jacobs who averaged 5.0. Denver had a goodaverage, SD had a good average.

Looking at next year I think the Bears will carry 4 RBs, most teams do carry 4 guys and for a team that runs the ball I don't think its a bad idea. Saywhat you want about Benson but I think he gets another shot next year. He has zero trade value, cutting him won't save much money. I think you have AP whosa good 3rd RB and a good ST guy. Wolfe I think has a role but won't ever be a starting RB based on his size. I saw a few people mentioned Jones-Drew and Ithink Wolfe can be that kind of guy minus Jones power. Jones-Drew isn't an everydown RB he averaged about 10.5 carries a game. My point is I don'tthink Wolfe needs to be an everdown RB to make an impact. I say try to get him the ball 10-15 times a game and see what he can do. I include passes as well.

As I said I think it would be a good idea to draft a RB in the second there should be guys there that can push Benson. I really like Chris Johnson from EastCarolina but I think hes now a first round pick. But there should be a lot of good talent in the 2nd or 3rd I think this is a pretty deep draft RB wise.

The Bears taking Chris Johnson would be a Horrible mistake. he is complimentary type RB and a 3rd down back and one of his assetts is he is an excellent returnman, why draft all that when u have the backfield of Wolfe, Petersn, and Benson plus Devin hester is your all world return man .

Benson looked descent in the Superbowl season..especially in the NFC championship game when he was running over dudes.

adrian peterson>benson

they just wont admit it

because peterson played at georgia southern

and doesnt get that money benson does.
