have you been watching at all? we have the best record in thewest right now. you better learn about it son. hes also taken the lakers to the playoffs the last two years. thats better than what you can say about playerslike Kidd, Garnett, Howard, Pierce,Allen, etc...

outside of maybe 10-20 players, who plays consistent defense in this league? Nobody..... Especially with the no hand check rule..... You think it's acoincidence in the past guards had to back down usually just to bring the ball up the floor? Examples are Magic, Jordan, Mark Jackson, etc..... I could go onand on)... You can't touch anybody on the perimeter today at all. I think it's the rule changes + the refs whistles + Stern that have made this leaguein general (with a few exceptions) not care about defense as well as a much softer league.....

vc and tmac should not be on that list. could they have been better? sure but being a perenial 25, 5,and 5 guy is nothing to scoff at.

VC is extremely talented but comes up short on the results........when it counts. 5 ast 5 reb 1st half, zip zip in the 2nd.

SMH at timmy duncan only getting 5%. This dude has only won 4 championships, compared to nash and kidd (both great players in their own right) who have 0combined. NBA players know theirt # will go up wit Nash and Kidd that is why they said that. With Timmy you are not going to be getting as much $$$.
 
I'd hate to get the best passes in the world and drop half of them but they Are the nba. If i was in the nba id want to have all the stars on one team so iwouldnt have to do a darn thing. haha

A few have already mentioned it and I agree....we are talking about a league that has majority of players not really caring about playing defense.Nash at least tries to give an effort, unlike some of the crap I watch during the regular season from other guards who run three point line to three pointline.

But if I were D Wade, I'd be scratching my head. I'm a champion and nobody considers me a player to team up with?

Also, T-Mac and Vince (while putting up excellent numbers throughout their careers), should actually be flattered that their peers consider them able to do somuch more.

I totally understand why people would want to play with dominant bigs. But that list doesnt surprise me one bit.
 
Give me Kidd, to me he is more complete than Nash.

But you can't go wrong with either one of them

I would have never made the comment if I knew that you all would respond this way. I dont know why you are laughing....you are basically agreeing with my comment. I never said they were concerned with defense...I said that they werent.


This is incorrect nash plays good team defense and outstandingly average on the ball defense. His defense is not nearly as bad as you make it out to be,now a days he just floats. Even J-Kidd hardly plays great on the ball defense anymore, these dudes are old.

Steve Nash is one of the worst defensive players in the NBA. Either his man scores, or a teammate leaves his man to double the guy Nash isguarding, and that guy scores. Do you watch Suns games?
