His contract is up at the end of this season if the Bobcats don't want him back, and he hasn't really proven much, he proved he could score, but shoothorrendously. I don't really know ANYONE who likes Adam Morrison, so with that said, what's the future for Adam Morrison?

bobcats need to let him go...they wouldnt be playin the way they are now if he was healthy

Completely done? Absolutely not.

The Bobcats should have known what to expect out of him, as should anybody who knows anything about him. He'll be fine.

Who in the League right now needs an unproven forward who shoots horribly and will probably demand too much money? I mean I know the kid has potential, but heprobably won't be anything more than a second string forward for some team in the best case scenario IMO.

He's 23 years old. And if we judged all our players on how they shot their first season in the league we would have a ton of guys to rip on.

Who knows what is going to happen to Morrison in Charlotte. But we are judging him on his rookie season and that's it. Is that to say he has a 10 yearcareer ahead of him for sure? We don't know. But to say he is done with the league is sort of stretching it, that was my main point.

He should give up the chainsmoking though.

if wally szcerbiak is still in the league, there is still room for Morrison.

If the Bobcats are smart they'll to sign him to a low paying contract and take advantage of his poorshooting and injury. That way they can see if he'llactually make somethin of himself and if not they havent wasted a lot of money.

I just looked it up...he has two years left of team options...08/09 for 4.15 and 09/10 for 5.25...at that price for someone at 23 years old they will exersizeat least the 08/09 year...its not like the Bobcats are up against the luxury tax or anything

Them declining the team option on Morrison would be like Kevin McHale considering declining the team option on Gerald Green for 2 mill...oh wait...he actuallydid it

You know he is going to ask more money than he deserves. All he really has on his resume is a very good college career. But this is the NBA. If you dont have agood resume in the NBA, your not going to get too much attention. Now, will he be out of the NBA. Certainly not. Many teams will take a chance on him becauseof his age and his potential. Sure, right now people are thinking he is a bust. But, its not like he doesnt have potential. Its his second year, and we haventseen much. Who knows, in 5 years he could be a superstar. You never know.

Yeah you must just hate Adam Morrison or something...because there are MUUUUUUUUUUCH worst in the league. You acting like dude is Luke Jackson orsomething...and even he has a job right now. Adam will be fine...and I do see in Charlotte next year. I don't think they're going to give up on thatbig of an investment after one season (that he played).

The Bobcats probably will not pick up the option of Morrison. They already have a large salaries committed to the same position. They have signed Matt Carrolland Gerald Wallace to long term contracts with substantial cost commitments. Because Morrison was drafted so high his player option salaries likely leave theBobcats with two options, trading him or waiving him.

Michael Jordan runs the Bobcats. Expect the most ridiculous decision you have ever seen.

He's a bum.

Thank God Billy King is gone or he'd probably wind up on the Sixers with a max contract.

Matt Carroll earned that contract. The contract length could be called into question, but Carroll came out of the D-League and balled his!$+! off. He scored, passed, rebounded, defended, and made free throws.

I agree on Matt Carroll, he's a good player, and 5.45m isn't a bad contract, and I'm sure he'll get payed more than that some year.

He would fit great W/ my suns he's a great spot up shooter need's to learn how to play some D though!! someone will pick him up though he's notd-league material yet in my mind.

I mean we can all probably realize he will not live up to the third pick status at which he was drafted.

But out of the league? you know how many rookies shoot under 40% their first year or two?

He will probably always be a one or two dimensional player but to say he cannot shoot and has no place in the league is pure hate

My point wasn't really me making the statement he won't make another NBA team, it's the question of whether the Bobcats will pick-up on his option,or will he move on in his NBA life, and if he does, if teams are willing to bet on him for a significant amount of money. I wasn't expecting so muchbackfire, but on NT you always have to pick your words carefully.

And the only reason I even thought of him not being picked up by another team is because he would ask for too much money (10+m)
