Dwight Howard is packing heat

Damn. I wish someone would have told me you can run people over with your car. I wouldn't have sold that rust pile.

I know Dwight Howard Sr. is a Georgia State Trooper and I believe he is retired military. He may have just taught Dwight Jr. about guns at an early age like alot of Americans to explain their purpose for good and their potential for bad.

that .50 cal in call of duty is

i don't see much wrong with owning a licensed gun, but that thing would make even anton chigurh think twice

Orlando PR could spin it like : Dwight is a true American, exercising his right to bare arms in case of tyranical opposition.

But homeboy is packing an anti-aircraft weapon haha

Hell yeah he is. You can shoot down a 747 with that. I wonder how much that cost him. Probably not significant to him.

First he went raw with the cheerleader, now he's pulling a T.I. with the artillery, what's next? DUI's, Dogfighting? Dude is tainted goods. Justkidding, I could care less about what rifles that dude owns. As long as that thing ain't pointed at me, I'm cool with it.

Edit: I completely butchered the word cheerleader

been making use of this thing online.

seriously why would any regular citizen need to own something like that? even for recreational or collection purposes.

DISCLAIMER: guns are not cool kids, Halo is just a game and a work of fiction. stay clean, stay in school. no, im not joking.

But why would someone need to own a .50 cal sniper rifle. I don't think collecting "Guns" is an acceptable things. It is one thing to own a gunfor protection as everybody shoyld be able to, but having a gun of that sort is completly foolish and unnecesary.

^ Why the heck is it foolish to collect guns?

Some of the arguments in here are so narrow-minded and juvenile, it's mind-boggling.

I mean, I have no guns, I have never shot or held a gun, and I'm kind of against guns; in my perfect world, the only people with guns are law enforcementofficials, and even then, only the important, proven ones.

But that doesn't mean I think it's foolish to own a gun, or an arsenal. You guys have no idea how many people have a multitude of guns, and they havenever, ever shot at anything breathing, and never would.

Guns are as murderous as knives.

And if I had an interest in guns and I had money, man, you better believe I'd have the most expensive, rare thing I could get my hands on, regardless ofthe opinions of the narrow-minded.

@ this NRA motto.

The right to legally own a gun is what gives these idiots a chance to kill people more easily and efficiently in the first place.
You can own a car for it's functionality.

You can legally own a gun for entertainment. Shooting a damn dartboard in your backyard? Not a problem. Not illegal. Perfectly innocent.

You can own a car legitimately, with no intentions of killing, harming, or threatening anyone just the same as you can do the same with a gun.

Again I ask: how is it wrong to legally own a gun?
Darts are designed for entertainment. Are you telling me that guns are designed for entertainment? And if so, why do they have to be real guns? Why can't it be BB guns? You could kill a person with a dart, but the question is how easily. I'm not saying that everything that could kill a personshould be made illegal, because then all glass products and kitchen appliances should be made illegal. But guns are designed to kill and you can kill a personmuch more easily, and even accidentally, with a gun than a dart. How you can compare a dart and a gun like that is beyond me.

I can't believe that the gun this thread is about is completely legal to own.

I am against collecting knives, that do not have a practical use either. Why do you think this country is so violent. No other Annex I country has a murderrate like we do, and while that can not be solely attributed to everyone owning guns, it is a reason. Guns are not toys that are collectibles. Collectbasketball cards not guns.

#1- You went on this little rant about how ridiculous it is for me to compare darts to guns, and I never even mentioned a dang dart.

#2- People use tons of things outside of its intended use. Heck, this is NikeTalk, where 99% of us use sneakers casually, which is NOT what they were designedfor. They are designed for specific athletic purposes.

#3- Actually, there ARE guns designed for sport. I'm not saying at ALL that a sniper rifle is designed for sport, but you seem to think that all guns aredesigned for killing, and that's not true.

#4- You might think it's some lame NRA motto, but that doesn't change the FACT that 'Guns don't kill people; people kill people'. You put agun, a knife, and a bat on a table, and if I want to kill you, I can do it with any one of them. But if you tell the gun, the knife, and the bat to gang up andkill you, they won't. Because they can't. Because they can't kill anyone. People can, though.
