Again, just a thought: But wouldn't Wallace for Zach Randolph make sense for two teams that are more or less due to make another deal with each other?

I think this actually makes a lot of sense...Salaries match too.

Vince is the "supposed" heralded star but thus far in his career he has to yet to deliver, he plays with no heart and never steps up when the gameson the line. Granted crawford hasn't won anything major or made a playoff appearance. The 3 times the Knicks played the NETS this season Crawford scorchedthem. So how the hell are you clowns defending a bum like VC all he does is rely on a garbage 3pt shot and has little none athletic ability left. If yourchoosing a team and you would pick VC over crawford your basketball taste should be reevaluated. Crawford is a better scorer, passer, Defended and able tobreak down defenders 1 on 1 better. VC is great for running fast breaks and choking when he team needs him thats it.

Crawford is way better than VC, he has proved it this year every time they have played. He has always got the better of bum Vince. Crawford has beenlighting $*%% up with 0 help this year at most times he has even had to play the role of the pg and the #1 scorer. It has been tough for him but he still playshis heart out every time he goes on the court and has a nasty drive/jumper combo. Extreremely gifted offensive player. Just because the Knicks have had nosuccess does not mean he had, this aint his fault. and diceloveme, you are exactly right my dude. All thsese guys are just backing up VC over Crawford cause Crawford dont have a rep as a star yet, andthey evaluate VC from his Toronto days. Mal is better than VC in EVERY aspect of the game. The jump shots are on a different level, VC cant shoot for $#%* andhe still jacks up to many shots and dont look for teamates unlike Mal, he has no athletisism left, he is a worse defender than Mal, and at breaking downdefenders 1 0n 1, you MAYBE got 5 guys better than Jamal at that. And most importantly as i said. Jamal delivers when it matters and never chokes like VC andhe plays with heart unlike VC.

Man im telling you it aint even close, Jamal is so much better. Give Jamal a JKidd pg, and he will torch N's night in and out. If the Knicks and Nets diddo a Jamal/Vince trade (which may i add the KNICKS have declined), the Nets will turrn out to be legit east contenders with a backcourt of Kidd, Jamal, and RJ,and than a young frontcourt like Boone and ma homie Sean Williams.

Yes i know he is kinda washed up, but thats the kinda D we NEED desperately on this team. Add that with an addition of Artest and a top draft pick,and we aint so bad especially if we somehow keep Lee and Crawford and maybe even Nate.

But than again Wallace and Artest on the same team.

Vince is SOFT. yeah i said it. dude has no killer instinct whatsoever. i think playing with Kidd masks a LOT of his deficiencies. but Carter just doesnt have"it" anymore. it's like RK has the desire but not the skill set of Vince, and Vince has the skill set and not desire.. i understand him gettingolder and all that, but he doesnt seem to play hard. he's just playing off talent. Jamal may be what he is, but dude is clutch and i'd take him overVince for finals shots. the way Vince plays anyway, he'd be roasted in NY. maybe it's me not liking him. but i dont think the papers would take well toa player like him. hell, he'd have to beg Steph for the ball anyway.

anyone else hear than Randolph was BEGGING Thomas in front of the team in the locker room on Friday to trade him?

This is definitely going down. Seattle wants to get rid of these two contracts and should free up playing time due to too many players at one position. And J Will and R Davis are not working out here in Miami and their expiring contracts should be heavenly to Seattle's eyes. Miami gets a point guard that can distribute the ball better than the ones we currently have, so now D Wade doesn't have to bring the ball up every time and a 3 point shooter that the Heat desperately need. Now if this trade goes down there might be a player or two different from this proposed trade, but these four players will definitely be in the trade.

If you are going off of who has made the most of their abilities then yes Crawford has been better. But if you going off of pure physical talent (forgetmindset, heart, etc.....) VC could easily have been the best player in the league today if he had any kind of work ethic at all in his Toronto days and had akiller instinct like Kobe..... If you deny that then I don't know what to tell you. This is a guy that has been pretty much going through the motionsoffensively and averaging 25, 5, 5..... Give him a Kobe mentality he'd be a top 5 player...No doubt in my mind....

Mal is better than VC in EVERY aspect of the game.
Yet, Vince is putting up better stats across the board, shooting better percentages... Vince isn't a superstar anymore, but he's stillbetter than Jamal Crawford.

If he's even as good as Vince right now, which I don't agree with, it's because Vince is 3 years older and his body is starting to wear down.

This season I agree that Jamal>Vince but Career wise Vince>Crawford and plus Jamal has not even gotten a sniff in the playoffs. But it seems like Knicksfans are going nuts because they won 3 straight games and Jamal is there Savior so he can't do wrong.

Jamal Crawford on his best day couldn't hold VC's jock....what is this argument based off of, Crawford being on fire for the past 5-6 games? Look atthe body of work between VC and Crawford. Jamal Crawford has the talent to be one of the better combo guards in the NBA, but he has been inconsistent. You cansay that Vince lacks heart or toughness, but fact of the matter is, he gets buckets. He has been doing it (sans when he quit on T.dot) since day 1 in the NBA.

Jamal gets buckets too Double J so whats your point vince has also been very inconsisent. Jamal is forced to do it all, If I had a jason kidd type playerfeeding me great assist no reason why I shouldn't be getting 20+ ppg. Vince is wack what does he bring to the table in what aspect of his game does hisoutshine jamal besides being an insane leaper????? Jamal would have 30 ppg if he didn't have a ball hog in STEPH and ZACH and he would also have way moreassist a game if bums like curry and richardson would make shots. Vince is a great fast break player. ANY offense with Kidd running it will make cats like RJ/Kenyon look better than what they are. the Nets in general suck inthe half court.

my whole beef with Vince/T-mac and players like them is this: Kobe and AI for all the slack they get, those guys play their butts off. They're competitors.Vince/Mac just gimme the impression that they're 6'6 cats so they HAVE to play ball.

in all honesty, Jamal is a b list SG due to his streakiness and this might be the first offseason where i've heard of him actually working out to gainmuscle and all that (not saying he didnt before tho)....Larry Brown is probably the difference why Jamal's taking and making better shots now. Kenny Smithpointed that out last night.

and best believe, Jamal could get 25 ppg and 5 dimes easy. when you have Zach with 20/10 and Curry with 15 or so a game, you would pass the ball too.

i'm glad Carter aint in NY. dude is a cupcake. i cant STAND him.

As mentioned VC is no longer a superstar but to say he's a "bum" or "sucks" is just silly. Crawford is a finished product IMO(he is asgood as he is going to be), like VC he plays no defense, he's a volume shooter and is great at nothing. I guess the only advantage Crawford has is youth.
