It's established that David Lee is one of the better young players today, yet gets less than 30 mpg because of Isiah.
WHAT"S UP WITDAT?

its because Isiah's a damn fool

The Knicks need to be dismembered and rebuilt again around Lee, Robinson, Crawford, and hopefully a top 4 draftpick....... Also Isiah + Dolan have to somehow be gone.....

Do it Paxson...

Zeke would never trade Lee, at least I doubt it....

Yeah David Lee's career is pretty much getting wasted over there with the knicks he should come to the kings we could use another big man in the painthelping out Brad Miller and Mikki Moore. David Lee is a great rebounder and can score when he's given the chance.

David Lee would not be popular if he wasnt playing for the knicks...he shines in a team of garbage....hes more of a 10-10 guy than 15-10 guy

career? going to waste? have you ever seen david lee play? what's his career? dunks and rebounds. his offensive game is damn near non existent, but hisdefense is solid.

if he gets an open jumper, it's a brick, guaranteed, however, he shot 60 percent from the field last year. all his points come from dunks and free throws.the kid is not a superstar. he's a good player who likes to make questionable decisions from time to time.

if he ever gets a jumpshot, which he is working on, he's going to a very good player. until then.......he's a still a backup to the fattest frontlinein the league.

No, it's not. David Lee is a role player. Could he handle or does he deserve more minutes? Maybe a bit, but when Isiah traded for Zach Randolph and EddyCurry, what'd you expect? With Randolph and Curry both playing around 30 minutes a night, where are Lee's minutes supposed to come from? He can'tplay SF. David Lee is not a budding all-star or a guy that will be carrying a team deep into the playoffs like people seem to keep suggesting. Could he be oneof those key 'glue' guys that every team has to have to make deep runs? Absolutely. But he's nothing more than that.

a guy like Lee isn't going to play 38mins a game and average 25-12 all of a sudden, hes a rotation player not a go to guy

Lee is like Varejao, he's supposed to go out there and play a role which allows the "go-to-guys" do their jobs

you're never going to see the Knicks run an iso for Lee, sure he should probably play 30+ mins a night but he doesn't need to see any more than 35minsin a night

I've always thought that it would be interesting to see Lee with Kobe, Lee could have been Kobe's Rodman. With the way Bynum was playing in the paint aguy like Lee is what they need, another scrappy forward who grabs redounds and runs the break

I think he's a Jamie Feick type of player (obviously a little better). He's a great player to have because he doesn't need to create his own shotto get buckets. He's a role player, who will get garbage hoops and shoot a high FG %. Yeah, a lot of the hype that he gets is due to the fact that he playsin NY and is essentially the opposite of everything that Isiah throws on the court for starters. He hustles, isn't a ballhog, and is a team player. He is atype of guy who could easily be a 13/10 type of player if he got those starter minutes. But as it was said before, when you have the D Cups starting (Curry andRandolph), you have no spot for him in the opening lineup. I have a feeling he will be gone from NY year after next. You put him on a team where he can be that"glue guy" he will thrive.

so david lee is on level with ben wallace on defense?! WHOA
and point out to me where i said that? im simply pointing out that just because a player has no offense doesnt mean they cant be a force

Lee is not that great of a defender. Not a shot blocker either. His rebounding and hustle makes up for it though. His jumper from the corner has improvedthough. I like Ronald Balkman alot as well. Basically does the same as Lee except he's more of a slasher/small foward.

David Lee is that dude.

Who wouldn't want him on their team?

He's a glue/hustle guy who will crash the boards.

Offensive, defensive rebounds.

And if you foul him?

He shoots like 80%+ from the FT line.

That in itself sets him apart from all the Varejaos out there.

He's a guy you don't really have to run a play for, but he can still put up 10-15 points. Double double every game, if given minutes.

He brings heart, something the Knicks clearly lack right now. Isaiah is in fact, wasting his talent right now.
