InApril 2006, he was traded to the San Diego Chargers for cornerback Sammy Davis. In August 2006, he was cut from the San Diego Chargers.On August 3rd 2006 he was claimed off waivers by the Denver Broncos but failedhis physical and released.

Does anyone remember Lawrence Phillips from '96? Rams selected him 6th overall....... Dude was a straight up disappointment in the NFL He'd skipteam meetings.. I also remember dude getting arrested for domestic abuse.... He averaged 41 yards per game on the ground, as a RB selected 6th overall
