All the talk about LeBron opting out from the sorry Cavaliers...

Well, considering these things...

-The Heat will be in play for a potential stud to pair with Wade for the next several years via the lottery (Rose, Beasley, Jordan, Mayo) at the conclusion of this season.

- And that by the time that Wade's fourth year option is up Shaq's deal will be off the books, and the Heat will be a major player in FA that particular off-season, being under the salary cap 20+ million (enough salary cap flexibility to afford TWO maxium salary free agents)

It won't be nearly that bad of a situation.
So will Larry Hughes, Z, Donyell Marshall, and Damon Jones, who are eating the majority of the Cavs' cap room.

And, by that time, LeBron will be widely regarded as the best in the league, who others will want to play with.

As much as i dont want bron to go to the knicks i think they would be a succesful team with him. They just need somone to bring everything together as a team. But it wont happen, it better not happen.

all this mention of Bron going to NY, they are talking about Brooklyn Nets, not the Sorry NY knicks

Thats if the Nets ever get to move to Brooklyn

the people there are fighting not to build the arena in Brooklyn. The date has even been pushed back to2010...and thats the earliest. Wishful thinking if you as me.

He looking smart for taking that shorter deal.
but still....Lebron to Brooklyn is inevitable...

Cavs play defense, that's why Lebron James is able to win them games.

Knicks don't play defense, so if Lebron James came to play it'd be the same story, because he's no powerhouse defender as we all know.

The problem in the Knicks association is in the coaching staff, and in their lack of ability to motivate their players. Period.

I can dream .. yeah?

hey, i didnt say he would do it in the next couple years
the kids got his whole career ahead of him and lets face it, the knicks have some more lottery picks coming their way
plus with the move coming and the fact that his nike contract will double i just dont think its that far fetched

so you brought this up to make your self feel better about Lebron resigning ?

even if i wasn't a heat fan, i think wade has a better chance of staying with Miami, than Lebron has staying Cleveland.

LeBron's a better team player then Wade.

I don't see how anyone can like what the Heat are doing as a management, and there's a rumor going around they're trying to get Earl Watson and Wally Szczerbiak for Williams+Davis+Wright, and knowing the Heat, they'd probably bite. You DON'T get rid of your supporting cast after winning a championship, even if you think your upgrading, ruining chemistry is the worst thing you can do.
You really don't and Pat Riley doesn't seem to understand that. That's the reason why the heat are in the situation they are in now. Poormanagement of the team.
