Strahan - Cofield - Robbins - Osi - Tuck

see you in the Cowboys Packers Patriots backfield.

I posted this in the Giants v. Cowboys & Packers threads - and it still holds true for this matchup.

I was at the week 17 game.
After the final whistle blew and all the Pats fans sitting around me we celebrating I told them that we would see them again in the Super Bowl.
I CANNOT BELIEVE I WAS RIGHT.

We are gonna give the Pats a run for their money.

Well again not really n e body (especially me) had the Giants going to Glendale, Arizona playing a rematch of their Week 17 classic. After the struggles thePats had with the Chargers, This SB will not be a walk-on for them. I think Brady will have huge heat from their pass rush andwill have at least a pick againstthe stingy secondary. Eli also will finally make a mistake for the first time this whole post-season. Experience will catch up to the Giants and the Pats willwin this one 34-24. Brady will win MVP Honors and the Giants hot streak will finally come to an end.

Brady throws for 4 TD's, 2 of them to Moss, 1 to Welker, and 1 to Vrabel.
Patriots by 17, 44-27

Playing in warm weather?

You already know Brady's gonna be throwing bombs all day...

Patriots 38 - 21

You have no clue what you are talking about.....The Giants do not have 1 turnover the whole postseason....well only Mcquarters fumble after the int.but the Packers got a FG .....apparently there are pretty good if they are in the Super Bowl

Still 2 damn weeks left and I never make predictions about the outcome of the game when it comes to the Jints. I just have enough faith to think that they canwin this game. If Eli plays like he has the entire postseason, we will have a shot in the 4th, that's all I ask for.

I have been saying the whole year that the Pats will win, but I just can't say it now because they are up against my squad.

LET'S GO JINTS!!!

The Giants are trying to prove that the regular season doesn't predict nothing..

Dallas 2-0 vs Giants in the regular season. Giants 1-0 postseason
Packers crushed Giants in the regular season. Giants succeed in the postseason.
Patriots beat the Giants in the regular season. Giants.......................... ?????

The Manning family in back to back superbowls.. I can't imagine the hoopla they'll get if Eli wins.

I'll be rooting for the Giants.

I'm hoping and praying they can pull it off, Eli played very good against the Packers especially with the weather being the way it was.

Of course the Pats have yet to be beaten...

I just want to get in this thread before it gets out of control.
You give the Patriots 2 weeks to prepare for ANY team and that's going to be trouble.
Brady threw for 350+ against them in Week 17. I see no reason why this game should be any different.
And I also see Maroney adding more than the 46 yards he had in week 17. He's been an absolute beast lately.
The Giants have been playing real well lately, but the Pats have been playing real well for 18 weeks. Absolutley no reason they won't for a 19th week.
The Pats will blitz Eli and he'll get the famous "Manning Family Happy Feet" and throw a couple of picks.
42-24 Pats.
19-0.
Greatest team and greatest season of all time.

Wow definitely didn't expect the Giants...but congrats to them and their fans. Eli really led them well over the past month or so. This will be a goodmatchup I think, especially since both team recently played each other and are therefore pretty familiar with each other.

I really like our chances given that Belichick has two weeks to prepare for the Giants. I know our defense has gotten called out a lot, but in the redzoneit's a totally different defense. Hopefully that keeps up. And knowing that it will be warm and dry, I know Brady will be on point. It's probably goingto be pretty high scoring, both teams scoring at least 24 I think. No score prediction yet.

If we pull out the W...I definitely think the MVP of the game will have to be Welker, Maroney, or Faulk. Faulk definitely came up huge last night whenever hisnumber was called. Maroney is just pounding it hard right now (pause). And Welker is the go to guy. I just think we have too many weapons to cover. If youblitz Brady, there will be at least two guys open on quick slants or screens, and if you dont blitz, then Brady picks you apart. It's just too much I thinkon offense. It's the defense that worries me, if we can hold the Giants to under 20, I think we take this game pretty easy. But with the way Eli has beenrunning the ship, that will not be easy to do.

Ok I'm done

BTW: LT has zero heart and charger fans should be very disappointed in that man.

Nobody ever gives the Giants enough credit. The Giants put up 35 points against the Patriots in the last game of the season...

If it wasnt for a blown coverage and Sam Madison coming up lame, the Giants win in week 16. Also the Pats havent gotten a taste of Ahmad Bradshaw yet...

anyway should be an interesting game.

it's def. gonna be a tough S.B. for the both teams.

the pats are obviously on a tear. and the giants almost came out with a win week 17.

pats by a td. 34-27

Damn I can't believe the Giants made the Superbowl. Didn't see that one coming at all. I honestly don't expect this game to be very close. Notbecause of my dislike for the Giants but just because I think the Pats are that damn good. You are giving Brady and Bellicheck 2 damn weeks to prepare for anyteam and it is trouble. Add in the fact they have the incentive to go 19-0 and I think they will just be too much for the Giants. Also, I don't expectManning to play that well in the biggest stage in the world. Call me crazy but I just don't see it happening. Congrats to both teams for making it to thispoint though, must feel good.

i still hard to believe that the giants won at lambeau and are going to glendale...

but then again props to Eli playing a hell of a game, and playing wellthroughout the whole playoffs

You best believe Eli is going to be talking to his brother about the Pats Defense for these 2 weeks
