Super Bowl XLII: YOU GOTTA bELIeve!!!!!!!! Greatest Super Bowl in History?!?!?

Sean Salisbury said that the NYGs weren't going to the playoffs at the beginning of the season.

ESPN analyst are the worst.

In all fairness, no one really expected the Giants to even make the playoffs.

I think we were projected to go 6-10 or something.

Glad everyone was wrong.

Salisbury also was the one who said the KC Chiefs would destroy the Colts in the playoffs last year.

They don't have to be 100% accurate but come on.

Thier predictions go the complete opposite way.

You cant jump on these analysts so much...so many things happen over the course of the season that affect what actually happens. As far as the prediction aboutthe Giants missing the playoffs, that's mostly due to the Cowboys being so favored in the preseason and throughout the first half of the season. Either waytho, great season by the Giants. It is always nice to prove people wrong.

man those analytss are about as good and accurate as your local weatherman predicting the weather. usually wrong and way off

look at the entire fox (faux) team consistently and unanimously voting in preference of whoever the giants' opponent has been over the last four weeks.

don't even get me started on those punks at espn

this is going to be a competitive game

Yeah what's up with all these old%!+@ bands doing the halftime? Whatever, now I don't gotta feel like I'm missing anything when I go outside toplay football.

I don't know which would be bigger. Pats winning it all, keeping intact their undefeated season or Giants pulling a huge upset. Man, can't wait forthis game.

cosign... i couldnt sleep thinking about us in the superbowl

GO GIANTS!!

I finally fell asleep about a quarter after 5 AM. Tried falling asleep many a time, but just couldn't do it. This run by the Jints is great. It is so muchbetter because nobody expected it in the first place. Props to the GM Jerry Reese who took a lot of #%*% for not making major moves in the off-season. Had agreat draft with Ross and Smith who are contributing factors in big games. Mitchell has been pretty solid at OLB as well. And who woulda thought AhmadBradshaw? Gotta love that kid. The improbablity of this run will make me never forget it no matter the outcome of the Super Bowl in 13 days. I loved ErnieAccorsi and he had gotten slaughtered for what ended up becoming Eli for Rivers, Kaeding, and Merriman. He had always said all along that he saw something inEli, some intangible that would make us Jints fans happy one day. I think he has silenced the critics and has really put together an amazing post season. Whowoulda thought he is the only QB left in the playoffs who has NOT turned the ball over once? WOW. Just WOW. LET'S GO JINTS, ONE MORE W BABY!!

This is gonna be a real good game. I'm not worried about our offense, I think we'll take care of da Pats defense fairly easily. I AM worried about ourpass defense. Maroney will not run effectively on us but we cannot let Moss get deep 2 plays in a row like in week 17. We also cant play zone all day like dastupid @#* Chargers, and let Faulk and Welker go crazy. We need to mix it up with man and zone, so Faulk isnt open on every play like on Sunday. All dat beingsaid...

Giants 34 Pats 31

@ not knowing who Tom Petty is.

I'm not a big Petty fan but I'd rather watch some real musicians like McCartney and Prince instead of some Nelly-Britney Spears-lip-syncing garbage collab any day of the week.

I dont really know who Tom Petty is either, but I agree with you bout having real musicians over, like you said, Nelly-Britney Spears-lip-syncing garbagecollab.
