I could see this gam egoing either way. The Pats may blow them out due to the warm weather = bombs all day and BB having 2 weeks time to prepare. Or the Giantscould keep this game close like they did in Week 17. I want to say that I witnessed history so I will be rooting for the Pats but hey if the Giants win Iwon't be mad 'cause I'm a New Yorker

I have caught the past 2 games up at The White Horse in Allston/Brighton and may head that way again. Went to Game On for Game 4 of the World Series so I canonly imagine how crazy its going to be in a couple of weeks.
 
27-20 Giants remember I said that I will repost it when we win. Another great game for Eli and Tom is gonna just play bad after gettin sacked 9 times.

EDIT - Watch that Giants Pats game that we lost if you really think this will be a blowout game. Only difference this time is we will win.

yea i was there for all those WS games- but in general the red sox draw more of a crowd...then again this is the superbowl so it will def be redic...timefor house party planning i guess

Everyone is easy to hate on the great teams... Spurs, Patriots, Red Sox... Without them, the sport wouldn't be as interesting. We should all appreciatethem for giving us more interest in our favorite sports. I don't mind any of these teams, except the Spurs sometimes. Go Pats!

how do giant fans feel about shockey? ive heard nfl analysts say the giants are better off without him...but im not sure id agree. what do you you guys think?

I think Toomer and Plax will suffice as targets. They both looked good in the NFC Championship game.

I am with KingTre; the Patriots will win, but the Giants will cover!

My guess is all the money will go on the Giants based on emotion, rooting for thedog, and overanalyzing the "close" week 17 game. Then, expect a Pacman Jones-esque shower of dough on the Pats come the Sat/Sun of SB weekend.
 
I think dats bull were better off w/o Shockey. They just never use him right. They never start throwing him da ball till da second half.

And to whoever asked up there, yes Amani Toomer is talent...not alot of people can make the catches he does.
 
I can't wait for the prop bets on this game. I've never gambled on the Superbowl but this one will be interesting.

I guess you didnt google your knowledge for sports well enough. Its not hate fortheir talent or dominance but the questionable ways they've acquired some of their wins.

Fact: Patriots are in theeeeee easiest division.
Fact: Patriots are vulnerable defensively and offensively
Fact: Teams crumble in the 4th quarter while the Patriots dont.

Its gonna be good game. Both teams are cold weather and playing in a climate like Arizona is gonna take some getting use to. I think its gonna be a runninggame. Welcher will be the go to reciever and moss is gonna be playing the background like he has for the last 3 games. Look for plax and the giants to goshort, posts down the middle.

Jacobs vs. Maroney is gonna be the highlight of the game.

The Giants are not better without him.....They never call any plays to him until the 2nd half...He always plays big against the Cowboys.....They just neveruse him enough and i don't know why....When he is not involved in a route then he is a real good blocker...He always pumps up the offense big time and is agreat emotional leader.....I hope he is on the sideline for the Super Bowl to get them pumped up
 
Shockey plays hard. Always has. Coughlin has underutilized him throughout most of his time with the Giants. The guy has major skills, blocking, catching,running with the ball, being a decoy. His only downfall has been his level of "enthusiasm" which has made him look like a real jerk at times, but hecan always back it up when needed. He's still on contract so I don't see him going anywhere next year, but it will be a different team with Eli Manningcatching as much success as he has recently. He's going to have to play his role and be less of a showboater. He's a great player though.

Those two with Plax are def a good wr core...and sometimes the pats secondary comes up soft...that could be an issue...again i'm Patriots all the wayBUT i can def see the Giants putting up some numbers early...but Eli will fold 4sure...

Jeremy Shockey is my favorite NFL player that doesn't play for the Pats. I love the way he plays the game and unlike a lot of other players in the league,he can back up his mouth on the field. He's the only NFL player that I've bought a jersey of.
