Super Bowl XLII: YOU GOTTA bELIeve!!!!!!!! Greatest Super Bowl in History?!?!?

Giants key to Victory:

Capitalize on Patriots mistakes. The only 2 times the Pats lost in the playoffs during this run is due to them making uncharacteristic mistakes and theopponent (Broncos, Colts) capitalizing on them.

When the Pats play well, they don't lose. Nobody is good enough to beat them when they play well.

all i know is my boy Antonio Pierce better be killin out there, if not...

Am i the only one who wants Webster on Moss instead of Madison ? Webster has shown he could finally make a play on the ball and he could get a better jam on Moss to slow him down a bit. Madison has played good football for us but he's just to small for Moss and hasnt played a game in the playoffs. Ross on stallworth and Madison on Welker would be our best match ups i think. I really like Madison playing those short routes on Welker to
I'll take Webster or Ross on Moss, but they CANNOT put Madison's slow @*@ on him. He should stick with Welker.

The Giants need to convert ALL redzone opportunities...that will make or break them
I agree, but Ill go as far to say, if we settle for more than ONE redzone FG, we will lose, but we shouldnt have a problem. Da Pats defense reallyisnt that good.

it hasnt been good all year for about 80 yards of the field, but inside the redzone...its tops in the league, no doubt.

its possible if brady is really winging it all day the PATS will cover the over/under by themselves.

Seriously, where are people getting their info??
4th best D in the league. Statistically better then the Giants.
Good, I hope people keep putting the D down.
They give up less overall yards, less YPG, less passing yards, less points and only give up .6 more rushing yards.
and in the RZ, ask the Chargers how good they are.
The Pats are good when they need to be and that has been the playoffs.
The best "2 back tandem" in the league was held to 66 yards rushing. What makes people think that Jacobs and Bradshaw will do any better?
I love how "people" (not at all on this board, and I'm not questioning anyones loyalty in the least bit) are saying how the Giants are just goingto dominate the Pats. 18-0 and they get no respect.

thanks for clearing that up jbug. people think the pats def is soft. actually people (also not on this board) think the giants are going to line up and justrun all over them. not happening. man sunday just can,t get here. history will be made sunday

Unless any one of these things happen it doesn't look good for the Giants. They are statistically the worst team ever to reach the Superbowl. Kellerman and Brian Kenney were braking it down on Espn radio, saying their point differential for the year was only +22 (Patriots was 350 something, best in NFL history), and they were a scorching minus 9 with turnover ratio.

Who cares about them beaing the worst statistical team ever to play in the Super Bowl. None of that matters come Sunday. If they come to play they have avery good shot at pulling off the upset. This game is starting to remind me of Super Bowl XXXVI when every one said the Rams were gonna destroy the Patirotsand the Pats shocked the world. After soaking up 2 weeks of hype..................

I'm out for the weekend, hope it's at least a good entertaining game.

Pats 35
Giants 21

Brady for MVP, Welker the darkhorse to get it.

Good luck to the fans from both squads.

The Giants are not the 2001 Pats and the Pats are NOT the 2001 Rams. Those Rams were trash talking all week. These Pats, nope. Those Rams took the Patslightly. These Pats nope. Those Rams were coached by Mike Martz. These Pats, Belichick. The comparison is stupid to be honest with you. I mean for the merefact that the coach and quarterback that won that Superbowl is the coach and quarterback the Giants are up against. What a dumb comparison.... SMH.

Damn less then 2 days away for Super Bowl XLII

Giants need to play like they have been playing.....I also think they need to run the clock down as much as they can. Blitz Brady when they can to get maxpressure on him and force him to make some bad throws. Eli needs to just manage the game well....we don't need him to start trying to throw for 300 yardseven if they are down early BUT i do think they need to try so me surprise long bombs to Plax. They never do that and it worked a few times against thePackers....Should be a very good game

Giants-31
Patriots-27

LETS GO GGGGGGGGGMMMMMENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I dont know who wouldnt respect da Pats, dats just stupid...but as for their defense, like I said, we'll take care of them. If LT wouldhave played in dat game, da redzone would have been a different story. And where was their RZ defense against the Jags?? And who was comparing the Giantsdefense to them?

@ your ability to read. Never once did I say that The Giantsare the equivalent to the 2001 Pats nor did I compare the Pats to the Rams. The comparison I was referring to is the way that people are saying that the Patsare gonna obliterate the Giants and that they have no chance whatsoever.Never once did I compare Belichick to Martz. I thought that was a pretty clear cutstatment but I guess not.

I feel what maddskillz17 is saying, the rams where the greatest show on turf and nobody tought the pats could win cause the game was on turf, and also the patsdivison that year was similar to the gaints this year, they had a lot of hard games with the jets and miami, as this year the giants had a hard time with thecowboys and eagles. the pats beat the steelers and raiders that year in the playoffs the giants beat the cowboys and packers this year,,also mike marts wassuppose to be the smartest coach that year with an offense that was stats wise the greatest ever that year......... I see alot of comparisons

I am so happy to be out of banned camp for this thread. The pats r gonna win like always. We should publish a NT list of who each person is pickin so the Patsdont gain 50 new fans by half time.

My biggest hope is that Moss will win Superbowl MVP. I would love to see him make that speech. It's been a long road as a Moss fan. Choke city inMinnesota, Hell in Oakland, please let this be the payback for loyalty.
