I knew that's where he would end up.
Writing was on the wall.
USC doesn't need him, Sark has been doing a good job, wait until the Sanchez/McKnight show next year.

I remember Ken Norton telling the media of his adoption of the Trojan motto: "Your a Bruin for four years and a Trojan for life". Norton extended his hand to UCLA, he wanted to coach. Karl Dorrellsaid, no thanks. Pete Carroll offered him a job, that he obviously loves, he isn't leaving. When Neuheisel extended his hand, Norton said no thanks. Norton is a loyal guy, ya'll slapped his hand away. Now he is in charge of a LB corps that is the envy of the nation.
I hate UCLA with a passion, but I don't think the Vols will beat them at the Rose Bowl. Eric Berry is good, but he isn't under center.
UCLA was just the best option for Chow. His wife and family live in LA. He's been in Tennessee the past three years. He didn't expect to be let go from the Titans, he still wants to coach, he knows the Pac-10, and UCLA can afford his salary. It's a good situation for him.
He still resides in the South Bay. He was still under contract when the Titans fired him at $1 million a year. Under his contract UCLA will payhim 300 to 400K and the Titans will pay him the rest.
Besides, Sarkisian has done a pretty good job the past two seasons.
i disagree with this chow was a better OC. I think this will hurt USC in the long run because now guys coming out of highschool in LA like AllenBradford and C.J. Gable will look at UCLA hard. Some guys that want immediate playing time w/out competeing will choose ucla. I think the days of USC 3 to 4deep at a position are over. Chow will know what to do against Pete. THE ONLY WAY TO COUNTERACT THIS MOVE IS TO GET BACK OGERON ASAP!!!!!!! and Norton is not abum I had respect for you Bigmike because you were an unbiased fan but now you want to stick your chest out. at least wait until your mighty bruins win a pac10 title this century before you go running your mouth. and like Iron Man said Ken Norton wanted to coach at ucla but dorrell told him thanks, but no thanks.personally i think he is a good position coach and with more experience could eventually move into a higher postion at USC or another College. From what i hearhe is also a good recruiter so I am happy USC was able to keep him. I am not mad at chow just disappointed.
