Tiki Barber not jealous of Giants' success[/h1]
BY NEIL BEST
January 20, 2008
Tiki Barber has maintained a low public profile during the Giants' playoff run, commenting primarily on his own Sirius Satellite Radio show.
But he did sit down with PBS' Charlie Rose for an interview that debuted Friday night.
Even though the Giants are a victory from reaching the Super Bowl, Barber said he has no regrets about retiring and added, "I'm proud of them. They've done a lot and accomplished a lot."
When Rose asked if Barber is concerned that the current group of backs could make people forget him, he said, "I hope they do. That's what it's all about."
Barber said that while he is a Giants fan and will root for them, as a fan, he also would enjoy the drama of Brett Favre against the Patriots in perhaps his final game in the NFL. "It's just a [good] story," he said.
