Tight game so far....Should be a barn burner...

One of my favorite backcourts in the nation w/ DJ and Abrams
 
This was the best game of the year last year. Let's hope it's a good one again this year...

Texas is really starting to get some of their better bigs involved, which is going to be huge for them. If they can get guys like Gary Johnson and AlexisWangmene contributing on a nightly basis, they'll be a TON better off.

Good game at this point. UT up 10 @ the half, but that means nothing in CBB...
 
I haven't been watching that closely. But DJ is definitely the best PG in the country right now

He had a serious heart condition for the longest. Got cleared to play close to a month ago. He hadn't been able to do any conditioning or realspeed basketball activities for close to 6 months, so he's still trying to round into shape. He's a hell of a player though, and he'll be a greataddition once he gets back to 100%.

not on topic, but Nowitness, what is goin on at Baylor

I had no idea how good they've been, I knew Jerrells could play and the only game I caught was the Arkansas game

just wow, that is a phenomenal job by Drew
 
^They have done a great job after the whole thing that went on that summer and I always love to see Curt do well. Hopefully they can get some nationalrecognition and crack into the top 25 soon.

Scott Drew is one of the better young coaches in the country. How Baylor is not in the Top 25 yet is beyond me... They're going to make noise inthe BigXii too. Those guards are GOOD. Jerrells, Dugat, Bruce, Tweety Carter, LaceDarius Dunn... They have all kinds of guards to throw at you. I like KevinRogers ALOT. They'd be even better if Josh Lomers could stay on the court and out of the Training facilities. The Bears are still really young, too. Bruceis the only senior on the team that ever sees the floor... But yeah, all in all, Scott Drew has done a GREAT job rebuilding that program so quickly...

Back to this game... Oklahoma State came out to play in the second half. Dudes came out and stole the momentum early on, and they've been rollin. Gonna begood coming down the stretch.

On a sidenote... My dude Byron gettin a little chubby.

Looks like the AP has them at 25 and they're about 7 out in the ESPN poll. I hadn't checked today's polls until now

You talkin about Byron? Man, this dude used to be a KILLER. Wasn't a high schooler in the country that could guard that man. Dude was UNSTOPPABLE.

I've always thought Sean Sutton sucked, too. He almost seems clueless most of the time. Which doesn't make sense at all, considering he coached underone of the best ever for so many years...

And yeah, if DJ, AJ and Damion get on a roll, and they get help from guys like Gary Johnson, Justin Mason and Alexis Wangmene, this team could make a seriousrun in March.
 
Yeah talkin about Eaton...obviously I never saw him in HS, but since he's been in college, I've never seen what had him rated by some as the #1 PG.
 
Byron Eaton needs to cut that silly@@#% mohawk off..

I never understood how you could be a fat PG in college....Im sure they run more than anyone else....Maybe he just one of those people that just can't dropweight and just is gonna be fat regardless....
 
Good game by both teams. I thought we might have had a Wisconsin moment there at the end (giving the game away), but we pulled it out, thank God
