2007-08 Miami Heat = 1996-97 SA Spurs?

I'm not talkin about personnel during the year or whatever, just the potential that is there to rebuild and reload so quickly

Dominique Wilkins really played for the Spurs? Other than the Hawks I recall him being on the Celtics and Clippers but not the Spurs.

Anyways on topic, yeah J-Will ain't getting younger and we need help at PG and SF and consider getting a complementary center for Shaq. And the frontoffice better do things right in the offseason.

The Heat are in trouble. They're in the East and can't even get contend for a playoff slot. A team with Shaq and Wade should not be this bad. I believethis is karma for Riley when he gave Stan Van Gundy the boot so he can guide the team to a title a few years back. No one can tell me otherwise that Van Gundywanted to leave because he was forced out be Riley and now Riley is paying for it.

the heats top priority isnt getting a pg. They're paper thin in the frontcourt, and I actually like daequan cook. They should let cook and wade man thebackcourt and go after a bigman in the draft

SMH @ cats not knowing that Dominique played for the Spurs. Check out this vid, plenty of Nique Spurs highlights late in the vid:

Here's one team I bet many of you didn't know Dominique played for:

hmm i guess the heat are better of drafting beasley/jordan and pursuing a pg free agent this summer like carlos arroyo.

If the Heat get the #1 over the T-Wolves...man...

I was hoping the Heat would get the #8 seed so the T-Wolves could nap their 1st rounder (Ricky Davis trade) but that obviously isin't happening...

AMEN!

However, I dont think they're in big trouble...Sometime after the all star break they'll shut Shaq and Wade down for the season. Riley knows they canturn it around next year so he's going to stick around. They'll probably get a top pick and Jason Williams and Ricky Davis' contracts come off thebooks. All they need is a draft pick and to add a FA (Deng, Igoudala, Josh Smith) and they'll be contenders again...I can also see Riley wanting to win nowand trading away a top pick for immediate veteran help.
