people use the fact that he broadcasts all of New England as an excuse??
that's even worse considering how large the region is.
Other announcers just broadcasting for their city aren't as foolish as this guy.

you guys might not like Tommy, and you have valid reasons. but you can not deny Mike Gorman as one of, if not, the best play by play guys in all of sports.

Honestly, the Celtics are my team but Tommy is one of the worst color guys in the history of the league.
Seriously, do any of the players actually care about getting a Tommy point?
Basically every other hometown color guy is announcing to the hometown fans, but they manage to be relatively objective. Tommy's homerism is a gimmick andit's old.

Doesn't matter that he's broadcasting to Celtics fans only (in theory), he still needs to be professional. He can't be yelling out random crap thata fan from the crowd would be saying. There should be a difference between someone getting paid to commentate on TV and a fan painted in green from the thirdlevel.
