Best pick of this mock... Jacksonville taking James Hardy

OLB Keith Rivers USC Sr. 6-3 236

If we don't end up picking up Lance Briggs in FA, I would have no problems with this pick. Lawson - Willis - Rivers would be a nice, young LB corps.

I don't see Gholston dropping to 13 tho.

a few things that stand out:

- Jags taking another 6'7 WR (like 3 isnt enough already

) ...

- Pittsburgh taking another OLB/De prospect in harvey (they just took Woodley and Timmons last yrs draft)

- Buffalo taking a WR/PR when they just re-upped with Roscoe Parrish

- Groves at 6

, thats pretty big leap

For real... What's the point of having Lee Evans, Roscoe and DeSean Jackson? Speed kills, but at some point you gotta add a chain-mover...

Unfortunately i do think the Bears will take a QB first. They should get a lineman. Of course that would leave them without a QB, and from what i understandabout football, thats bad.
Edit:
why wouldnt Brett come back especially if the Packers can pick up that beast of a man at TE?

I agree w/ you Gunna on all 6 counts...big time...Id much rather see NY take Gholston at 6 if Dmac or Ryan dont fall (they prob. wouldnt have the guts to takeeither of those players even if they were there)...

I see the Tuna, as has been speculated, trading away the first pick in order to increase their number of picks in the draft. The Dolphins would benefit morefrom having the ability to draft more players at lower spots in the draft (and potentially receiving future picks and/or current players).

Groves? he's nice, but give me Gholston

And why do most have the Cowboys goin WR/RB with the 2 picks...I understand it will be needed but, the secondary should be addressed with 1 pick.

why do 9er fans want lance briggs? hes not a 3-4 LB.. plus look at the amount of people they brought in and drafted at the LB position in the last 2 years

I like the pick of Jeff Otah. Seems like he will be an asset to us. (considering our run game and pass protection were non existant last year) But consideringour new OC is/was out Oline coach I forsee a lot of runs next year. If not Otah then Mckelvin or Talib( dont see him going at 10) or even DE Calais Campbel

Manningham has been picked for us in every mock draft

We get Felix.

Or Mendenhall as picked in a other mock one.

I feel bad for the CB in the Draft because they will be asked if they can cover Colston. And thats really unfair to corners and an insult to Colston

. Histechnique is gonna get better.

I just wanna see how many reps he throws up at the combine

i bet sweed wont even go in the 1st round.
I personally dont think he should but this WR class is SOOO weak he might. If he runs under a 4.6 40 anything could happen.

This years draft class is so hard to predict. (They always are but this year especially) Outside of Dorsey, Ellis, Mcfadden and the two Long's and maybejust MAYBE Matt Ryan. All of these guys could almost fall anyplace.
