I guess it was that tough nonconference schedule...
All those big wins against the likes of Eastern Washington, Boise State, Montana, Idaho , Idaho State, Portland State, Citidel, North Carolina A & T, andGonzaga (the other biggest fraud in NCAA hoops) really prepared them for PAC-10 play.

They should have lost to Baylor earlier in the year as well. Only reason they won that game is because Curtis Jerrells got hurt...

I wouldn't call them frauds though.

Except that he won't play during his Jr. & Sr. year because Brandon Jennings will be starting for the next two years.
Gardner was a four year starter.

Well I guess I was a little misunderstood. I think Wise is going to go down as a player that is loved by the fans but won't be an NBA player.

Besides Brandon Jennings won't be the starter his Sophomore year because we will win the NC next year

No, they were already frauds. Tonight they just got exposed.
They have one player that MIGHT start on any other PAC-10 team (Derrick Low), and their schedule is ranked #130 in the nation.
 
Kyle Weaver would start on 98.7% of teams in the country. Same with Low.

Just because they are Washington State you have this idea of they can't be good, well they are.

And their coach is one of the best there is already.

Did you miss what they did last year too?

They don't have the most talent, and no the schedule this year isn't good, but they as a team, are good.
 
and at the end of the season they will have a better record then zona. and do more work tounry time then zona will do.

Last year they surprised people. Nobody expected a PAC-10 team to play the boring, garbage, grind-it-out style of ball that they play. They had successbased off the surprise factor alone.
This year teams are more prepared for that style of play. As the conference season goes on they will get exposed again and again. They're just not a goodbasketball team.

No they wont UCLA has been playing that style for years and no one has "exposed" them over time.
 
I don't think a surprise factor lasts long in a 10 team league, and if it does, shame on the other 9 teams

UCLA is a good defensive team, but they are fully capable of scoring.
Washington State is one of the worst offensive teams I have seen in recent memory. They are slow, unathletic, and boring.
 
If your a team that lacks top to bottom talent and depth like some of the teams in the leauge do then you better lock up on the defense end. it was UCLA didat the start of Ben howlands career here and what SC is doing now because of there lack of depth. and its the same WSU is going to have to do untill they bringin some more players. you will go farther come march with a team that locks up on defense end. you of all people should know this since both your teams zonaand memphis cant guard anyone and over the years come march choke when a team locks them up on defense.
 
They have too many unathletic white dudes to be legit IMO

You're comparing this trash Wazzu team to a UCLA team that has gone to back to back Final Fours? Please.
You can play as much defense as you want, but if you can't put the ball in the hole your team's not going anywhere...which is the case at Wazzu.

And you honestly think that this garbage Wazzu team will get farther in the tourny than Memphis? You must have shared some of Amy Winehouse's drugs.

As for my Zona team, I don't know what the hell we'll do in the tourny...we have zero depth, and I don't really think that Kevin O'Neill knowswhat he's doing. I wouldn't be surprised if we lose in the first round again.
 
Derrick Low and Kyle weaver would start on any other team in the country. Ask any coach who the best defender in America is and more than half of them will sayKyle weaver.
 
Washington State is NOT a fraud. The Pac10 is just really good this year. When I first clicked the thread, I thought it was going to be another hat post froman east coast biased head, but

it was Zodogg, the guy that I feel has five times as many people who disagree with him than who agree with him. WashingtonState is a good team man.
 
I guess 16 other teams are still "surprised" and that's why they lost. Notably Oregon, Gonzaga, Air Force, and the USC team that beat UCLA lastweekend. Face it my dude, Wazzu is GOOD.
