This team is horrible. shaq is not the same even when hes played this year. i cant see wade staying there after his contract is over unless they make somemajor moves soon.i would love to see D-wade come back to chicago

eitherway the last time they won it was

-2007
-christmas presents were still sitting under peoples trees.

Did you figure this out all by yourself ?

keep dreaming if you think wade is leaving

i figured everything out last night as i watched their game ... i watched d wade take the ball, shake dude on him and have a wide open jumper at the top of thekey, but he passed it up to look for a closer and better shot ... he hands off to ricky davis i believe and dude comes off the pick and shoots in the exactsame spot with the same exact space between him and his defender that wade just passed up, and of course, clankage ... point being, this is the dumbestbasketball team ive ever watched ... the young guns are out there trying to show out cuz they know their playing for their future, and the verterans just arenton the same page ... they need to shake it up

It's just weird - okay they've had a few injuries and Shaq is obviously past his best - but on paper that team with that coach should at least bemediocre.

15 losses in a row? wow.

They make the Wolves look good

Wolves in last 15: 3-12
Heat in last 15: 0-15

--If someone told me the Heat would be the 2nd worst team in the League before the season started I would have taken that bet. I can't believe they'veactually sunk this low. From NBA Champions to cellar dwellers in 18 months.
--I was pulling for the Heat against those Spurs last night thought. Heeeeartbreak for Miami.

The Heat need to shake up the roster, coaching staff, and front office this offseason IMO.

And fixed it right back. The Heat aren't that good of a team. They're average is not below average in theEastern Conference. Everyone hopped on that bandwagon as soon as Shaq arrived in South Beach and D-Whistle got all those calls. Probably the most overratedteam in the league.
Their coach doesn't want to coach, their big man is now a paperweight, and they have the most overrated "star" in theleague playing guard. Riley should have never gotten rid of Van Gundy (who is playoff bound in Orlando) and they have the worst bunch of role players asidefrom Haslem that I've seen in a while to even be considered playoff contenders.

Shaq told the press recently that he has no plans on retiring after this season or anytime soon.

I guess he needs that $40 million after his ex wife talks most of his money in his divorce case.

The title of this topic got me. I understand the "hurt" you feel because the Miami Heat have been all but hot, but this title makes nosense. Besides, the Heat still don't have the worst record in the NBA.

You should post of the rest of his team with him, I took the liberty of adding them:

I dont understand how DWade is overrated?

Are people only sayin hes overrated cause he gets a large amount of calls from the refs?

^^yes thats one reason, but another is that he's...just not that good.

the Heat are a mess....they got a bunch of washed up vets and young dudes...there doesn't seem to be any chemistry. they're probably just tankin theseason now
laugh.gif
indifferent.gif
...they traded away long-term for a short-term thing by gettin Shaq and it worked out for them I guess...but now they're back to squareone again.

^ There's a difference between being "overrated" and not liking someone. I don't like D.Wade, never have, probably never will. However, youcan't front against his game. These last two months... look at the Heat's statlines and tell me they're losing because of D. Wade. Dude is goingout and going CRAZY and the rest of the squad is just laying down.

i never said he sucked. but i'm saying he's not that good. meaning a lot of Heat fans overrate his abilities, at least IMO. His game is predicated toomuch off of getting calls from referees; just driving in and getting some basura foul calls. but i have to admit, like chester, i just don't like him. andprobably never will...he's easily a top 5 SG but i dont know, i just don't like his game.

Compared to who or what?

His game is predicated too much off of getting calls from referees; just driving in and getting some basura foul calls.
So he should do what instead, in order to substantiate his abilities to you?

the refs should call less fouls when drives in the lane and there's barely any contact. of course, that's not Wade's fault he gets so many calls(...or is it?
tongue.gif
), but like i said already i just don't like that style of play. you're not changing my opinion over that i don't like his playingstyle so if you're gonna try to convince me otherwise it's not gonna work
laugh.gif
. like i said tho, i DO think he's a top 5 SG easily but do i likehis playing style? No.

Wow, I'm starting to feel sorry for them really. They could have won last night and it fell apart. Pride does come before the fall and boy they are gettingit 10 fold.

Lebron is next.

Dwayne Wade is vastly overrated. He doesn't suck, he's a good player, just not as good as everyone thinks. To give some sort of comparison, look at theCleveland Cavs... who do they have besides LeBron James? You could throw Z into the equation but the Heat have had Shaquille O'Neal play throughout this15-game losing streak. LeBron is playing with some mediocre role players and getting it done. Dwayne Wade isn't that kind of player and I don't thinkhe's in a class with his draft class players like LeBron, Carmelo, Chris Bosh and I think even T.J. Ford at his best is a little better. I think he's asecond tier player, the second option to a superstar like the Scottie to Mike, Parker to Duncan, Jefferson to Kidd or anyone to Nash.
