Why is everyone suddenly wearing Nike ACG Goadome Boots?

These are always excluded from the employee appreciation and F&F at Foot Locker inc. I never even knew what they were until about a few months ago.Don't see myself ever getting into these. They are just weird looking to me.
 
it's winter so people wear boots...and nikes are probably the cheapest and closest to a sneaker for those into the sneaker scene

My dad was up on Nike boots for years then put me onto them when I was in HS. They are as comfortable a boot as you can get in weather where you can't wearsneakers w/o them getting jacked up.
 
Like many people have said, I've been loving Nike boots since 7th grade or son. Comfy and durable.

But this year's design is attracting alot more attention. Call it Wale, call it GQ calling them good looking under jeans, call it great Nike marketingspecifically for their boots.

I'm from the DC/MD/VA area and i've seen people wearing Goadomes since early 2000, we originated the term "Nike Boots" that Nike uses intheir Goadome campaign, but Nike Boots hit their popularity around my area around 2004 because everybody and their momma had a pair of nike boots, becausetheir very comfortable look great with jeans and they match with everything you wear.

No hate for New York, but I been around New Yorkers for years and I've never seen not one of you guys wear Nike boots until after Jim Jones started wearingthem.

I copped a pair Tuesday nite and I've been rockin them to work every sense and they're very comfortable. They feel alot better than Timbs do. You don't catch too many cats here in the Chi rockin them.
 
An old friend from NY said they they've been wearing them for years, but as far as i know, the DC area reps them more than any other region. Its one of the'staple' shoes for this DC region.
Great durability, construction and comfort.
 
real talk, are these really comfortable as ya'll make it seem? I'm picking up some boots in a few days, it's either goadomes or timbs.

btw, how do these run in size compared to foams and AF1s?

Goadomes are really comfortable, imagine the air bubbles on the air max 95 on a timb and you have the Air Max Goadomes. Plus, they look much more fashionable
