im from Newport News ,VA and growing up, if u wore Nike boots, u got joked on.
nobody in my hood or the surrounding neighborhoods wear them. uptown dudes might wear them, but i dont go uptown. strictly downtown for me tho

I honestly bought them because i like them. I seen black and pink and had to get them. I had seen a couple other people wearing them but don't think itsthat big of a hype like people are saying it is. at least not out where I'm at.

Nikeboots have not been in the NY region longer than the Baltimore/DC region...
Wit' that said... Nikeboots have not been in the DC area as heavy as the Baltimore area...

DC just has a strong voice (Wale) that can reach out to people in other regions who imply that DC has started this trend...Similar to Jay-Z/ NY and the Air Force One...
