I was watching Big Ten Tonight and they were calling him the best junior in the country...

HTH is that possible? Wasn't he in the Telfair/Howard graduating class?

I just looked up his stats...and see that he redshirted year before last...which I didnt know. So wouldn't that make him a RS Junior right now?
 
Maybe he has an extra year of elgibility....I dunno why, but I think he has missed 2 seasons due to injuries...I could be wrong though. Possibly the NCAAgranted him another year?

AGREED. In 2k8 it said he was a junior and i could not believe it. I looked it up on the comp and it said hes a senior. im really not sure at all, but itseems like this guy was a freshman like around when Melo was.

also add Eugene Lawrence who i know is a true senior but seems like he has been playing at SJU forever

^^nah Norm aint bad, hes just trying to bring back a destroyed program which wasnt his fault, it takes time but hes been iight. Showtime woulda been great ifit wasnt for the injuries, Hamilton was a very nice player, and Mason Jr looks great right now and hes only a sophomore.

Hopfully SJU can land Lance Stevenson and get back on the map, but they also need to change their jerseys back.

I gotta disagree....what happened at Pitt wasn't his fault, but he has had PLENTY of time to put his mark on the SJU basketball team. He has beenlosing recruits left and right....a lot of this can go back to Jarvis and how he burned many bridges with many folks in NYC...a lot of top city talent has beensteered away from SJU due to a lot of the BS that Jarvis did. Going back to Norm....GR8, this is the frustrating thing....you look at a program like Baylor. Their program was WAY worse off than SJU, but with great recruiting/coaching, this team is now most likely going to be a 10 seed or better in the NCAA's. Why can't things be any different at SJU when the situation that we were in wasn't nearly as bad as what Baylor went through?

How about those dudes w. the dreads who play at Southern Illinois? They been there since I was in middle school....i'm 28 now

man i was just saying this yesterday and as long as we are talking about tit for some reason i couldnt believe earlier in the season when i heard AJ Abramsstill played. Hes only a junior also it says. I rememebr when he hit that 3 vs WVU
