Lebron had a great game. He needs improve his game. Is it safe to say this guy is the most hated individual in the NBA. I've been on different basketballboards today and Lebron just isn't liked. I wish they would stop comparing both b/c their great in their own way.

IMO, they are both at equal points physically as basketball players. Thats really all I have to say.

as a lifelong cavs fan (born and raised in cleveland) I will say kobe is the better player right now but lebron in couple years will surpass kobe in coupleyears as long as he keeps working on his game.

kobe may still be more polished (esp. the J), but overall game, if u put kobe ahead, lebron is like right next to him (millimeters behind). bron proved hecould get into kobe's head and shut him down defensively for stretches (1-6 in the 4th when bron was on him). and lebron attacked him on the other side.

obviously lebron isn't going to come out and say he's better b/c it's still about the rings. kobe has 3 and he has zilch. until bron wins one,it's hard for the public/media to say he's better (which i disagree(

Man, let's be REALLY real, you kobe fans hate Bron because he's being compared as being equal or greater than Kobe. I said this ever sincetheir rookie years(meaning Wade and Bron), that WHICHEVER Offguard, shooting guard, slasher gets compared to Kobe next, you guys will hate. So who's next? OJ Mayo? Eric Gordon? You guys can't stand that someone is being "compared" to him so you guys try to make it like he's some GOD and isuntouchable and NO ONE is near him, yet in reality he's not that far ahead of everyone else.

i'm not hating on Bron but how can you compare a 6'8 240 with a 6'6 215 dude ? That's not fair for Kobe. Lebron has the size advantage and not to mention he is 7 years younger than Kobe. Kobe is already 30 and he has a lot of miles on his body already. If Kobe has Lebron strength and height , he would be 10x greater than Lebron now.
LOL...oh really? So how was it fair that you guys used to compare AI and Kobe then? I mean AI still held his own but its' pretty much thesame thing then if you wanna say it's a disadvantage.

Nah I would say Kobe holds that title...contrary to what NT would have you believe. You have to remember alot of Laker fans are on this board so of courseKobe is their favorite player. Bron, outside of this site, is loved scratch that slurped.

Kobe is my favorite player, but I think Lebron is close to passing him. Kobe is more skilled, but Lebron is just such a good athlete and he uses his farsuperior athleticism to dominate in ways Kobe can't.

For example, he can get to the rim pretty much any time he wants, and once he's there he can finish better than anybody in the league because he weighs 250lbs and is strong as hell. Kobe is good at getting to the rim, but his first step isn't as quick as Lebron and he isn't as explosive once he getsthere. Once Lebron becomes a more consistent outside shooter it's over.

Personally, while Lebron sometimes amazes me, other times he makes things look TOO easy just because he's such a freakish athlete. I enjoy watching Kobe dothe same things that Lebron does but making it look harder

and having to use skill more so than athleticism.

You gotta understand that some fans don't describe all fans. So your generalizations can stop. Kobe is never leading his OWN team to a chip no one hasand as far as I'm concerned no one will so let's dead that too. Now lets get back to these fans. They are a little off base but just like Jordan fansget mad and hate Kobe because people compare them....Kobe fans get mad when Bron is compared to him. Simple right? In both cases the fans aren't too faroff base. The gap between Kobe and Jordan is honestly not as big as people try to make it. Offensively Kobe is a better talent. Crazy? Phil, Pip, and RonHarper all agree. So who should I believe people that played and coached the two or fans? Defensively it's Jordan clearly. Kobe is a good defender but noton Jordan's level. All the other intangibles I am not about to go through and list. Basically it's not such a sin to compare the two. Same goes forKobe and Bron. While one is still better than the other...there may be a day when the younger passes up the elder. Accept it. Bron is, in some ways, a mediacreation which also breeds much of the hate he gets. The slurping in the media is just unbelievable but that's business. And as far as the sizeadvantage...your right doesn't matter. Not too often do players have the EXACT same body anyways so whatever.

i am a life long cavs fan, and I do admit kobe is a little better than lebron, there real close but neither one of them is close to mike, not even KOBE, noteven LEBRON, i will prolly get bashed to death by all the kobe fans but its the truth.
