ONIONS BABY ONIONS

Just like last year! WOW

PAAAAAAARRRRRRRKKKKKKEEEEEEEERRRRR!!!!!!!!!!

CHEAAAAAAAAAAA!!! Another game tying buzzer beater vs the Wiz! If history repeats itself...Bosh will be dominating overtime.

I still have no damn faith because they still won't step up.

The Wiz should have won in regulation. But they are gonna finish it right here. Too many mistakes for the Raps to overcome.

Jamison has been taking acting lessons.

You didnt know? It was a pre-requisite for playing in the NBA now-a-days

Yeah, we shot ourselves in the foot this game. We took wayyyy too many jumpers to have a chance. The second half was just horrendous.

wiz were as sharp as calderon's sideburns....amazing they pulled this one off minus CB3. Like I said before...

no ruffin = automatic win

I think this is my first time saying it, but props to EJ for doing a damn good job coaching. McGuire was HUGE off the bench, as was Roger Mason. I like Blatchein that starting spot....if Todd gets ineffective towards the end of the season, Bulletproof should get his minutes at the 5...

good win tonight

disappointing way to end the game after that effort to tie the game in regulation. We better win tomorrow. A loss would be completely unacceptable.

DoubleJ's brings up a GREAT point. How good is Eddie Jordan of a coach? I mean, without Gil, without Caron, and they play a very good basketball gametonight. Never lost focus, even after a late second shot by Parker to tie. Eddie Jordan is the most underrated coach in this league IMO

IMO, ever since Gil has been out with injury, EJ has done a remarkable job. Last season he didn't use a deep bench, made questionable substitutions, and his rotations were flat-out horrible. To be honest, I was hoping this would have been his last year, but now I don't want anyone else coaching thisteam besides him. I just think the roster that we have has really tried to adjust to his Princeton offense, and also they adhere to what Randy Ayers ispreaching about defense (11th in the league). The Wiz are more dangerous now than what they were when leading the Eastern Conference going into the All-Starbreak last season. There was NO commitment to defense. Anyways, with Gil out, other players have to contribute to help with the scoring. You got Pech,Mason, Young, and others who have been big factors coming off of the bench. Not to mention a darkhorse MVP in Caron Butler. Who would have thought the teamwould be doing this well after losing Gil and after starting the season 0-5? I still expect the Wiz to finish somewhere in the 3-5 range at the end of theyear. I think a Raptors/Wizards playoff series would make for some great basketball!

Really makes you think that Gil could have been the problem for the lack of defence then?

no. i think it makes more sense to give credit to Randy Ayers, the assistant coach the Wizards just brought in this year who is known as a defensive genius. hehas worked wonders with this defense, compared to what they looked like in years past

as for the offense supposedly running better without Arenas.. the Wizards also just brought in Dave Hopla this year also, who is a veteran shooting coach. hehas EVERYBODY's FG% up, including guys like Brendan Haywood who were brick city for their whole careers. and he has raised everyone's FT% as well, andwe've seen the results as the Wizards have won a lot of games at the line. he has Haywood's FT% up like 40% from last year
