NBA 50 + 10 Greatest Players

1) I feel that Rodman should be put in the list... IMO, He's the best rebounder that ever lived in the history of NBA...
He's the guy who does the dirty job for the team...
The thing is... He is a bad boy.... High chance not to be selected....

2) TD is a must, bringing in the dynasty with his boring and fundamental basketball.

3) So as KG. Yeah, many has done 20/10, but not 7 consecutive seasons...

4) Iverson... Best 6footer scorer in the history of the league.
Well, this might not have any relation, but he is the hip hop icon. He started the trend for current hip-hop clothes.
Should give the man credit for that, even though I'm not a fan of hip hop.
Just like how MJ changed the league from Barkley's shorts to your shorts...

5) Kobe Bryant... Created the 2nd greatest scoring history in the NBA on 22nd of January 2006
3 championships, courtesy of Shaq. Youngest player in the league history to reach 25,000 points.

6) Shaquille O'Neal.

7) Jason Kidd. Mr triple-double.

8) Reggie Miller. The one and only Mr. Clutch, who holds the record for number of 3pts made in the league...

9) Gary Payton. Toughest guy... Well, at least, his mouth is too tough to handle...

10) Kwame Brown.

Nah, I'm not sure about this but I'm gonna pick Vince Carter, not Nique... Greatest Dunker in the league history...

He is already on the top 50 list. He made the list after four seasons in the league - actually fewer seasons than LeBron has played right now. Hedidn't have any accomplishments other than some great stats and leading his team to the finals only to be swept - pretty much identical to LeBron rightnow.

NOBODY and I mean NOBODY could guard Jamal Mashburn in his prime. Coaches had matchup nightmares when they played the Hornets. It's really too bad he wasn't healthier for the better part of his career. I'm telling you the dude was unguardable
Jamal was a beast in college one of the best 3 I ever saw I was a fan. Mash's best day were with the Mavs by far not the hornets, he was avery good scorer, but he was never a top ten playe, in the nba, rarely the best player on the team he was not the best player in his draft. He is not closeto being a top 60 NBA player all time.

Lol.. My clumsiness... I guess it should go to Steve Nash. 2 consecutive MVP award. The best Pick N Roll PG ever, or at least, this decade...

Shaq being named to Top50 then would be like Lebron on Top60 now. The uproar over him being named then was WILD considering guys like 'Nique and Bernardwere left off.

Truth.

It really doesn't matter if they've been in the league ONE year, if a player averaged 50 and 20, yet suddenly got injured, he'd be remembered.

BUT would that make him one of the top 50 (or 60.....wth we talkin bout now...

) of all time? Based off one year you couldn't do that.

I was using a very broad example, if it were a four-year career-span, that'd make things a lot different. Shaq was four years into his career, as is LeBronnow.

It's the Grant Hill question if you ask me.

I think the poster earlier got some stats messed up and was trying to say KG is the only player in history to average 20 points 10 rebounds and 5 assists for 6consecutive years. At least that's the closest thing I could think of that would put him in a league of his own when it comes to people with 20/10averages.
