Both KG and Ray Allen aren't playing due to injuries/illness.

Can the Heat match their longest winning streak of the season?

To all the Miami Heat fans, just a quick question - why does Pat Riley still have a job? Dude stinks. From his horrible moves this past off season, all theway to his horrible coaching methods and ripping of players through the media - why is this man still employed?

Pat Riley won a championship just 2 seasons ago. Riley madethe Heat franchise relevent . He made a gamble for the short term, at it paid off(well worth it). He's been as active as you can be in both free agent andtrade markets the past couple years, but the Heat are simply just taking the lumps off the backend of Shaq's contract(as Shaq isn't the player he oncewas even 2 years ago), and have no assets. He's been handcuffed.

I don't know why there is even a thread for this game.

Mark Blount has got to be the worst interior defender I have ever seen in my life....

I wouldn't say Riley the coach made the team relevant. Van Gundy made the team relevant by taking the team to playoffs before Shaq arrived; Riley thefront office employee brought the team to the next level by getting Shaq and the other vets on the roster. A lot of people, myself included, would argue thatthe team would have had a decent shot of winning with SVG at the helm.
I think that Riley taking over for SVG still leaves a bad taste in everyone's mouth and the fact that this HOF coach can't get his players towin has hurt his legacy somewhat. He can win when the talent is right, but when it comes to coaching a rebuilding squad, he hasn't fared so well.

I don't know how you can say 'I wouldn't say Riley the coach made the Heat relevent'...

Riley the coach/President/GM made the Heat relevent. End of story.

Not Stan Van Gundy. Stan had a nice run as a coach with Miami. He's a good coach(as he's showing in Orlando). But Riley's the one who got thetitle(s). Not Stan. Thems the facts.

Ever since Riley came aboard the Heat franchise, the Heat were relevent. He made the trade of G-Money and parts for Zo. He then later acquired Tim Bug atdeadline, and all of sudden the Heat were fielding an exciting Eastern Conference playoff contender instead of that "lowly expansion team" the yearsprevious. He even went on to pay Eddie Jones and Brian Grant maxium salary extensions to pair them with Zo & crew en route to really trying to field acontender. But when Zo got sick, that ofcourse never panned out to what he envisioned, and he re-rebuilded the roster. He took the two year lumps, had somesick drafts (with the help of Randy Pfund) with picking up Caron/Rasual Butler in 03, and Wade and 04, took and advantage of some salary flexibility and signeda nice asset in Odom. He did take a step back from coaching that year, but it's still was 'his team'. The following year, The Diesel comes into thepicture and he swifitly moves in to make that deal happen.

Bottom line, Pat Riley is the Miami Heat. They suck right now, but the franchise would not be as successful as it's been without Pat Riley.

I should add IDK if it's just me but J-Will looks to be healthy again seems to be moving quicker and not lagging like he has the past year and a half.

This is ridiculous. The Heat are so bad, they are making us look amazing. I know were good, but Ray or KG ain't playing

TDot -- JWill is a little quicker....looks in the best shape since the Finals win. His shot is not hittin at all though.

Yall need Beasley. You need some rebounds and a big man with skill. You got D.Wade. He can play some point and other guys.

You need Beasley, but you might get screwed becuase this is the lottery.

LOL @ this game even being televised. LOL @ all those empty seats. Just goes to show how crappy Miami "fans" and their team is.
