so do a whole bunch of other players. the more important question is what does cleveland have to offer? not much. and there's already a jkidd wants out ofnj thread.

Now that sir I concur with.... his salary is a stretch for us but we DONT HAVE A PT GUARD...

Spurs-good
Magic-good
SUNS-good

this is not a question of we need a back up point.... Lebron is the PT for Cleveland!
 
The problem I have with LeBron saying this, is that he's in a way throwing his current teammates under the bus. You know someone gotta go, and it comes offas LeBron doesn't think to fondly of the current group now.


Kudos to him for finally speaking up and out though.

That is exactly what I am talking about. Get rid of the 5 bums on the squad for Kidd.

Im sure both feel the same way. Playing USA ball in the summer & all. Every player feels like this though about J im sure. Its only a matter of whatCleveland can offer us, and I don't think it will be enough to make a deal.

If the Cavs GOT Kidd, who would be left on the roster other than Kidd, James, and Damon Jones?

exactly, and from some of the talks going on, NJ has asked the Mavs for Josh Howard. If NJ is asking for a player the caliber of Josh Howard,then what the hell do the Cavs have to give. They have a bunch of horrible contracts and worthless picks

I dont think the Nets would trade Kidd to the cavs. But if they did I dont really think Jason Kidd makes them instant contenders. Kidd is one of my fav playersbut he CANNOT shoot to save his life. He fits more with a western conference team that likes to run. Besides lebron( who dominates the ball) no one else onthat squad can run. And the cavs def dont/ wont have the shooters to spot up. So teams can play the cavs just like they do now.

Yea kidd adds defense but if lebron is doubled and kicks out to kidd its just a reb and off the other way. Kidds best years are with athletic TEAMS. and whileLebron is prolly the most athletic ever the team is not.

Kidd fits with Dallas, even with Denver ( maybe Jr, AI

Lebron getting spoiled with Kidd on Team USA...

Don't see it happening at all but it would be great for the NBA if Kidd went to the Cavs...
 
The Cavs have nobody to give up for J Kidd's calibur. The Nets would want some young players in return and the Cavs have only 1 besides Lebron and thatsBooby. Also why would the Nets, who trying to push for the playoffs, trade Kidd to an eastern conference team.
