actually if i'm not mistaking CL was the one copying the styl because this Hermes model has been out for quiet a while...i think i remember mister Ye wearing them early 2011 of so...maybe smbdy has a pic somewhere 
 
I took quite a few naps on those balenciaga red pleated highs/lows.

Can anyone help me out locating a 45/46?

(hate to add to the balenciaga mentions but i want these joints lol)
 
^^^ Balenciaga was supposed to release Arenas with a clear sole. The idea got scrapped for now but I'm 100% certain clear sole Arenas will release within the next two years. Expect a potential price hike as well...
 
Heads up, I didn't see this talked about yet, if it has, I'm sorry

They've got fakes of the Arenas - crackled black, Suede Black, Green 

They've also got fakes of the Trainers - all white, all red and some of the multicolor ones 

Just a heads up in case some of you are shopping for them outside of retailers!

They have to be horrible. Like the fake Foams.
 
The fake Balenciaga arenas are horrible.  They couldn't even get the outsole pattern correct

Yea, you guys above are right, they are not very good, I'm sure everybody in here would be able to tell the difference, just wanted to give a heads up.

I am in no way supporting fakes, just trying to help out.  Watch out for red arenas now too

Has anyone had an experience with Balmain boots? i have a 2 Sneakers, one from S/S the pleated high top, and i just bought the regular leather/suede sneakers off ssense. But i feel i would look weird on the street with the boots on? i live in Hudson Street (for those of you that know nyc) So i mean i can basically do anything, yet i feel these are too much, that i would look like some sort of gay fashonista on the street haha. Love the design tho, they just might be a bit much for me.
 
if u pull it off right it wouldn't be too much but if u wear them with some rick owens pants and a tank top then it would be too much

The buckled biker boots? Or sneakers? I am confused.


If it is the boots from SSense:

Then I really do not know how you can make those boots look gay unless you wear the boots with nothing else but a leather vest and assless chaps or dressed like the biker from the Village People. DOn't over think it, wear the boots with jeans and a tee.

If it is another pair of boots, it would help if you post how the boots looks at least.

Man, Arenas run BIG. Very Big. I tried on an 11 in Blacks locally & I still had A LOT of room. I'm normally a 12. I think I might have to get a 10 or 9.5
I don't know my size either, since there was no other sizes left. Sighs.

I plan to get the Red's, Blacks & one more color. Shoe is just too ill.
RFX, do you have any pics of your ice sole pair? I know one was recently re-released, but not sure which one it was.

The Balenciaga Patchworks? Cuz I don't have any Arenas. The patchworks are practically the same one at MrPorter, just different materials.

I posted these a few pages back, sole is barely yellowing. Not sure why JB hasn't figured out a solution to that problem or their sole are just made of really cheap material

In general, I say the Patchworks fits very similar to Raf Simons (Vandals & Astros) and it helps that both use practically the same sole from the same factory, Balenciagas sole is just clear. If you've tried Raf Simons shoes, I'd base my sizing on that.
