RFX, the low tops are Balmain.  It seems a little different than their usual style.  As far as the toe on the RO, I noticed that too.  I am assuming that the production version will not have the toe like that because it looks strange.  These photos are from when they did the buying over in Europe, so a lot of times the pieces on hand are just samples.
 
Also, there are 4 hightop and 2 lowtop Saint Laurent, however there is not a photo of them.  Based off the description 2 hightops will be either white leather or black, the other two are the same color way with studded panels.  The lows are also either white or black.
 
Here's the pics of the 4 SLP sneakers so far. Curious about the other 2.

The SLP is exactly what we are getting and in the black and white you posted.  In addition to those there are two more, one black and one white with studded panels.

Please post pics and let me know when you get them. I was going to order a pair from the YSL store in NY because they are already pre-selling them but if I can help an NTer out the better. Also interested in seeing the studded panel version.


Also, I know you are in the shoe department but if your Barneys get this DRKSHDW baseball cap, please let me know, interested in it as well.
I got the blistered lamb version and I love it, this one is cotton and would be easier to wear in the spring/summer than the leather version.

I'm so glad that Hedi is with ysl now... He def put his input on the design of those ysl's... Back in 2003 he changed the game in regards to luxury sneakers while at dior homme... I am very impressed with those new ysl kicks and look forward to much more that they have In store for the near future..
 
How are you very impressed by those sneakers? Since you haven't seen them in person yet you don't know the quality and from every photo I have seen they are plain and basic. Sometimes you need plain and basic and I know Hedi was trying to differencate from YSL line and Stefano Pilati.

I honestly think the SLP board didn't like having their name mentioned and clothing worn by rappers, that's why they are reducing the use of the YSL logo and toning everything down. We will see what Hedi's second coming at SLP brings( he worked there for 2 years in 1997)

From the pics that I have seen I am very impressed....in addition, I love minimalist high end shoe designs ie: cp, dior (hedi era), margiela.. They are timeless and have so much versatility.. ..However u r right I won't be able to fully judge them until I see them in person
 
The hightops are certainly better in my eyes then the low, they have more originality. As long as the quality of the materials is there, the shoes can let that be the showcase over a crazy design.

Nic, so Barney have the SLP Hi top already? If so, I'm going monday to check them out. Btw, the Lous in your profile pic are really nice, are they recent release?

None of the SLP's have arrived as of yet, however I will let everyone know as soon as I see them coming in.  The blue suede Louis in my profile pic has not been released yet and is a Spring 2013 style.  I was told it would be out by the end of this month or early February, however we'll see what happens being that CL is very hush on when they drop new styles.

Just picked up a pair of high top black arenas from balenciaga's US website in size 41. Keep checking the site, sizes pop up randomly!
