The shoes definitely are purple...majority blue...all the paneling is blue which is a majority of the shoe. The suede toe cap is violet the laces are violet. The paneling at the back is also violet. I am a photographer so i will upload a hd photo color balanced to match Mac Monitors color calibration.
 
Mr.porter had em listed at $495 when they really supposed to be $545, I know who ever ordered is happy about that $50 price difference....lol

No need to upload the photo. I just did not want people getting confused that they were the "purple" pleated posted a couple days ago. Enjoy!
 
Decisions decisions??

I already own a pair of black arenas mid.  If I could only choose 1, should I get the black pleated high tops? Or a pair of red arenas mid??
 
I buy a lot from them maybe that makes a difference. They asked for my size and the style but they did it for the UK site not the US even though I was logged in to the US site at the time but my email is the same for both accounts. I'm a little cheesed as I had to return the black arena lows because they run larger then the pleated.
 
Waiting on mrporter is not a wise decision. Everyone and their momma knows about mrporter.

I suggest as I always do is to link up with an SA. I have one SA @ the Balenciaga boutique an she hooks me up. Make sure all you Baleneciaga purchases go through them. I had the chance to get the pavots on mrporter but passed to give the business to my SA. I'll pass on other opportunities to give it to her. Bouncing from vendor to vendor to vendor is not wise, especially since it seems these are gaining popularity. A one time customer will be overlooked for a regular.

I buy way more stuff then Balenciagas from Mr porter and will continue to give them as much of my business as I can. They wave shipping from the UK all the time for me and are normally very good at reserving items for me and notifing me when they are in stock. I'm not looking to out do Mr. 100 just get a couple of pairs that I like.
 
MrPorter provides a great service, especially for customers who buys from them a lot. Buying ~$10k annually from them gets you first choice when their sale comes, you usually get 50% off almost everything before it goes public and the sale usually starts at 30% off. People hate their over wrapping when shipping but I like it, jacket comes with dust bags and comes with a personalized card "Mr. _____". A small insignificant touch that I personally like.

MrPorter, LN-CC, TheCorner, TresBienShop, etc... are my favorite online stores based customer service alone.
 
Mr Porter slipped up listing those Pavot Arenas for $495... I ordered another pair regardless
 
Yeah I had just spoke with the UK office about my hesitation to purchase from them since I was unsure of my size at the time and returns to the UK suck because you don't get the duty back. When I found out the size I needed they were sold out in the UK I asked if the US would carry the shoe and they said probably with no time frame on it but give them the style code and size and I would be wait listed. Why they wait listed me for the UK site, I don't know, other then that the customer service is outstanding. I love the packaging I reuse all the black tissue paper for when I sell on eBay.
 
Latest Pick up...Now if someone could help me find the mint joints in a size 41. I'll be happy until summer.
 
I tried scooping Pleated Blacks @ NM locally here today & they had numerous pairs but all pre-paid for by customers across the country...:smh:

Dude was like well you can try them on! :lol:

If anyone can assist me in finding a pair in 44 or would like to trade for a DS pair of Black 43 Arenas, let me know!
