for the violets...i'm a size 9..do I go 41 or 40? Bout to lose my balenciaga/high end virginity xD
 
Can anyone help me with the sizing for a pair of Pierre Hardy Degrade mid tops? I wear a 41 in the Balenciaga pleated highs and they look like a similar style shoe. Any one with experience with both brands/models? Thanks!

I'm a size 11.5-12 in Jordan's/Nike & I wear a 43 in Arenas. Those will probably work for you.

Thanks I will give the 43s a try I have a wider foot but I wear 11.5-12 in everything.

The Raf Simmons I wanted are sold out, so I can't really wait for a sale. I like the space shoes the black or the white with the hologram look to it.

Thanks jumpmankb! I usually buy the pleated one in 42 but he only have one 41 left so I'm gonna give it a try. He's a super nice guy to deal with.
 
Well I checked ssense again and the have a 44 in the Raf Simmons I wanted so I pulled the tr**** on these 

I paid the extra $10 for express shipping so hopefully they are here by the weekend, if they don't fit I'm out $20 shipping but if they do.....

im feeling those rafs. my idea of waiting on a sale applied to his regular stuff, not the special products. i dont know if an 11 will fit on you though it might be small

Yeah I slept on them at first questing for some grails, not sure on Raf sizing what-so-ever but I figured better to find out now then cry about them being sold out later.

yeah i agree with that consensus. But if theyre too small dont force it dude,in my experience sneakers that are too big are better than too small
 
so 100, whats the deal with the ciment arenas? I checked ebay and noticed far more silver than the gold(i like the gold better but i could **** with the silver too) are they a balenciaga exclusive (i think they are)? i need a 45 in my life

Definitely go to Rodeo Drive if you can, there is a Barneys, NM and Saks within a few blocks. On Rodeo Drive itself, there is a Gucci, Burberry, Prada, YSL, Lanvin, LV, D&G, Dior, etc... Margiela store is about 10-15 blocks away.

Thanks RFX! would you happen to know anything about those Holographic Raf Simons sneakers? I'm assuming they'd be at Barneys.
 
Alp, no doubt I am all about having the properly sized shoe, if it doesn't fit right I wouldn't keep them. I'll try to find a size 43 arena since they might be the right fit, if not I know I need to replace the stock inserts on the Balenciagas with something thicker, or double up on them.

Now that I'm thinking the 44 pleated would have probably fit fine if I unlaced and relaced them. I just didn't want to mess up their pretty lace job.

W/o half sizing, it is difficult to find the perfect fit, there will always be compromise. Buy the slightly smaller size and wear thin socks and hope it stretches or buy the bigger size and wear thicker socks or put thicker insole (remove the old ones and put newer, thicker and more comfortable/padded ones). My Raf Simons are long and narrow, it isn't a perfect fit but I make it work because they look good and doesn't really hurt my feet. That is really where I draw the line, comfort, if it starts to hurt or pinch somewhere, then I would definitely be returning the shoes, selling it or burying it in the backyard.

I haven't been to Barneys in the past few months so I am not sure what they have in stock at the moment, it is easy call though and ask or maybe Nic could help us out here and let us know if Barneys will be getting those Rafs?
