I grew up on the Bally's back in 1996 - 1998 when it was the quarter top and suede with the animal prints on the bottom sole.
I wish they could bring those back...
They fit perfectly, and just like the other KWLV's, literally one of the comfiest, most high quality shoes I've ever owned.
UNFILTERED CONDITION PICS.
They're definitely not 9/10. Dude looks like he was eating french fries and then tightening the suede strap, and the sole has mucho drag on both the heel and forefoot. If I really wanted to, I could probably throw it right back on eBay and flip a small profit.
PROS: Quality is literally out of this world, rare as all hell, very comfortable, price wasn't actually that bad.
CONS: Condition is poor, suede's a little beat/aged looking, the not-bad price is still in reality very pricey.
SO NT. WHAT WOULD YOU DO. CHOICES ARE:
A. Keep shoes.
B. Throw shoes back into the market.
C. Make post on NT asking what other NT'ers would do.
Putting the cost aside, I wouldn't be okay with wearing someone else's footwear that had gotten that much wear because it doesn't look like they were babied and it'd take a good amount of use to get to that point. I don't know, the idea of putting my feet in something that had someone else's funk all over it bothers me and I'm far from OCD. At least with clothing it can be dry cleaned or properly washed. That's all a matter of personal preference.
That being said, dude ripped you off. I don't really care about the market value, he misrepresented the product and those most definitely aren't a 9/10 condition. Like someone else said, it'll be tough to accurately show the condition as you have in your pictures and get your money back and I couldn't try to do to someone else what he did.
At this point to me the MacBook Pro is a no brainer over those even if they were the same price. I think you should get your money back, a refund of a significant amount of the $2350 if you're okay with keeping and wearing them could be another route...who knows if the seller will be open to that since he already tried to rip you off.
You're a better man than me buying someones used kicks for two grand.. I would try to get a refund or put them back on the Market.. If you missed out on the Kanye LV's when they first dropped take that on the chin.. Just by looking at the bottom you can tell dude wore them every time he hit the town.. And got an awful lot of wear out of them.. Think about the refurbishing he had to do just to get them to the condition they are currently in.. When he decided to sell them they probably looked much worse... smh..
