thanks. They look fairly decent.  I might pick those up.  I got the red pleats home and I'm second guessing them now. I don't know how much I will wear them vs how much I wanted them. 
 
Just wear them w/o clashing any other colors in your fit and you are good to go. Wear it with all black or all white or something.

I don't own any red clothing or anything close to red so nothing will clash. I never had loud sneakers so prob just feels a bit different.  I love the shoe and the color.

I don't think you're too late, they came out very recently but I know they were in limited numbers. Pretty sure only Balenciaga boutiques got them.

Niketalk impairing people's buying judgement one post at a time. :rofl: That's why sometimes its just best to admire the shoes from your computer screen/phone because I can sense you are having a bit of buyer's remorse like you shouldn't have bought them. The Red Pleated is a great shoe so I suggest if you "really" like the shoe just wear it with anything forget clashing. The fashion police is not going to run down on you so just do you but I understand when you say you might not wear them as much. Personally, I have quite a few pairs of high end shoes and haven't worn majority of them or have only worn them once while I can't speak for everybody but I would say that the vast majority of people are not wearing their same high end sneaker every single day so reality for most that's just the nature of these kind of shoes. Go with your gut because their is no worse feeling of looking at something in your closet like why the hell did I buy this.

I'm tempted by the white Arena.. I am worried about wear. I would hate to get a pair and then they start yellowing on me fairly quickly.. Anybody with experience with the white Arena?.

I don't have white arenas but I do have the white pleats. I have worn them 30 times in the last year, to bars, clubs, restaurants, walking around downtown Chicago, I even wore them while shopping all over London. They are not, yellowing and the soles wipe clean mostly.

By comparison the first couple times I wore my Lebron EXT Mints the white sole had yellowing that wouldn't come off when I tired to clean it.

Hopefully they put out some white pleats around springtime. Part of the reason I held off on the black pleats because I really wanted a white pair of sneaks and also with the pleats the white color will show the details of the shoe more.

I was having a bit of remorse. It wasn't the shoe, but the color. I never owned an all red or any shoe with red. I got a few articles of clothing they work with so I'm keeping them. Like you mentioned, I don't plan on wearing these much anyway. I have a pair of gucci loafers I worn only a handful of times in the last few years. My flyknits are pretty much my daily drivers.
 
is it just me or this thread (or even price of the shoes), people are nicer and more willing to help each other?  Unlike those JB thread, all they do is sh*t on each other, "bots, how rare, etc"

This is the reason why I'm making the transition to buying more higher end clothing/shoes. Way less BS to deal with, you pay a premium but you get a premium product with premium service (most of the time)

42 in pleated were a bit big on me (41 would have worked better). In Arenas I would be a... 41? That navy/black pair is deadly...
