Damn, has SLP reached that point already?

I;m not sure how well it turned out for the resellers when it came to Arenas and Pleates, it seemed like it didn't do so well for the Loubs. I don't monitor the FS forum or ebay though so I don't know.

Ain't nobody making money reselling SLP. And those heels SLP tends to use on their boots is OD. I showed a girl a pair and she thought they were for women. I'm inclined to agree.

Eh, majority of their shoes has regular heels, I think only 2-3 pairs have heels that high. Plus taller heels and cuban heels aren't really new to menswear, Beatles wore boots with heels that high.

lol they actually did make those for women last season, in a true wheat color. Those are sick though. I actually prefer the higher heel, I don't see what the big deal is. If I didn't have the standard jodhpur in the same color I'd get those for sure.

Grabbed the suede chain boot right after posting about them the other day, so I probably won't even be buying anything else for s/s '14 anyways

do sneakers usually go on sale at the end of the season or after 2 seasons? specifically Margielas, it's a couple pairs on Barney's website I wouldn't mind having if I could grab them at a discount

End of the season usually to free up space for new items coming in.

There are some exceptions though like some permanent collections, since the items doesn't change much from season to season they can keep it at retail.

I might need to go down to the store and see if they can stock locate a pair for me! thanks for the info.

RFX, its obvious that you made several assumptions and were to busy trying to prove someone wrong to really read any of what I said. You were arguing with people over the asics shoes last night and maybe you wanted to continue with someone else. You were to busy trying to say I was just retyping what you said, to read the differences. If my experience happened to you, you would be disgruntled too. I shared what happened to me so it didn't happen to anyone else. I can almost guarantee no one else will have a package ship to them with clear bubble wrap in the the future, so if thats the only thing to come from this, at least its something. I said I might give them another chance in the future, but not now. I told Alp if he see something he likes and he knows he won't need to return it to do it. I stated over and over my first order arrived perfect. There is no reason to go back and forth about things like personal preferences, everyone is different and has their own.

I come on here as a way to relax, like I said I was thinking aloud, bringing up talking points to which you felt the need to be the with the right answer. If I knew someone was going to be anal about it I wouldn't be posting half-asleep and I would be sure not to say anything that might be viewed as a contradiction. I voulentered to go to SLP to check out the jeans you asked about and instead of replying to that, want to focus on this. We seem to have very similar style/interests and we buy a lot of the same things. I always thought you where helpful and contributed a good deal to this thread, this site, and SF but you are coming off as an internet dooshe today.
BTW, someone please buy the blk red SLP on Ssense before I do so.... why are my size still up????
Kevin if your size is 44 I just took one out the system for you, but there is still more.

lol my best size for SLP is 42.5. but can work with 42 or 43. I heard these run bigger than their normal trainers so I guess 42

What are you talking about? I wasn't trying to argue with people about Asics, I thought they were ugly, I explained why and it ended there. You see how Alp and I just simply said let's move on and we did? You said to move on earlier and I agreed but you continued on so I did as well. But you want the last word on the discussion, you can have it after this post and I won't reply to you anymore, be my guest.

I am not arguing just for the sake of arguing, I;m not forcing you to be "wrong", I genuinely was trying to figure out what side you are on and what your points were. It really is contradicting as hell. And yeah you brought up "talking points" and i responded, just because I disagreed or didn't get what you said doesn't mean I was just arguing just to argue or fight. You don't want people to reply to you, open up a blog. Look at WJ4 at DB thread, dude posted pics before and people critiqued, he said he wasn't looking for critiques because he knows his style and he stopped posting them and just stuck to posting it on his blog and IG. That is one option if you do not want people to disagree with you. People always talk crap about me even PMs me crap and I just ignore it and I continue to post.

It's a discussion and that is what the a "discussion board/forum" is for. If you do not want to continue, just simply do not reply. You have that option. You can put me on ignore, everyone has that option too.

Sorry you had a bad experience with SB and despite you saying you had a good experience before, you are obviously still biased and has fueled your responses. I've had worse experience but I do not hold a grudge, I simply stop ordering from them or speak on the store once and I am done with it. I move on. I do not drag to the ground like you have.

Obviously I read your responses, I dissected several post of yours a page back. It is obvious you didn't read mine though by admitting you were half asleep when you replied and that you would have known that you practically said the same thing I said a few pages back if you did. Maybe you should take your own advice and read posts before responding or telling people to read your posts?

Sorry you feel that I am being a "d" today but I am as chill as can be and I am just replying to your post. Maybe it is your anger with SB that you take my post as being mad or "d"y but that is not my fault, you read it the way you want to take it so if your take away is I just want to argue, well then that's on you. At the end of the day, I do not lose sleep due to anyone's response here, I do not take it to the heart. I just let the thread move along. This is how I've always been.

I appreciate you going to the store and checking the jeans, really I am grateful but I just take this as any other discussion and nothing else, no hatred or disrespect to you or any other posters in this forum. Same with my opinion on Asics, it is not meant to insult or degrade anyone who likes it or owns a pair, it just isn't for me. You want to see anymore than that on the topic and that is on you, not me.

Now we've taken this thread downhill and I am partly to be blamed for that, I know that so I apologize to those who hates seeing my wall of text and derailed the thread. Have your last word and let's get back to our regularly scheduled programming.

I never thought I would see novels written in this thread.

It's all good in here...

Let see more pics, bros.

Let me first apologize for clogging up the thread with the detailed train of a discussion. I don't want the last word, I just want to clarify that I can separate my bad experience from the business model which I was enjoying the discussion before it went south. My initial anger and frustration with the SB fiasco is over, but I'm not ready but there again just yet. The reason I was upset at Them was I had such high hopes for them. They had good prices and I had planed on buying a bunch of other shoes I missed out on because they took so long to ship. I did make sure not to skew facts and let people know I was very satisfied with my first order. It has always been my dream to own a designer shoe store that was a cross between sneaker boy and flightclub.

That's the last I will speak of SB unless I decide to give them a second chance and I have something new to say.

I'm ready to hug it out if you are rfx45 rfx45 deal?

I heard they ran big as well so I figured I would try the 44 myself.

Rfx45 I like the color of the first Lanvins but still not sure how I feel about the shroud covering the laces.

I felt like Dj Proto J typing out those long winded essays.
