For anyone who didn't get import duties, what state are y'all in? Maybe it depends on that, who knows. 
 
It's not dependent on the state, it depends on the carrier.

If it ships through USPS, you will almost never, ever get customs fees and that's why SSense send em that way. Other shippers from UK also uses Royal Mail which then hands it off to USPS and you will not get customs fees.


FedEx and UPS seems like a coin flip, really depends how much the shippers declares in the packaging. DHL almost always gets hit with customs. There are other third party handlers that also hold the package until you pay, like RMX for example. It's really up to the shipper, I always try to ask them to label them cheap like OkiNi and LNCC will do that if you ask them while others are stubborn like Matches.
 
Also Rickdidas hit MrPorter today, only 2 colorways but I wouldn't be surprised if they get more. I am surprised at how many places are getting these so I might be wrong about them not hitting sale time, if it's not a must have for you, I'd wait. Really didn't expect MrPorter or Barneys to get them.

yeah imma wait it out. I want the white leather anyway and those don't seem to be too popular so hopefully I can find a good deal. it's gonna be a long wait till June
 
Really surprised revolve got them, they're selling quick there because they have that 10% or 15% off code and if you aren't in CA, it's no tax.


We really need more pics of them being rocked, it looks 10x better in fit pics.

Okay my NT bredren, need your opinions. This is more of a "it's up to you" thing, but I'd appreciate input. 

If you could get the black LV Jaspers in your size in 9/10 condition for 2350, or get a brand new, top spec'd Macbook Pro for 2000, and you have a laptop you bought a few years ago which is doing it's job but can't hurt to upgrade, what do you do.

Jaspers definitely. The specs on a mac are horrible. The hard drive and everything on a 1000 dollar mac is the equivalent of a 200 computer, it's sad cats pay that much just for the name and horrible technology
 
That too. Jaspers are forever, computers will be obsolete within a few years

I personally would not spend that much on a used pair of shoes but yeah if it is a choice between the two and your old computer is still working without a problem, go with the item that isn't produced and updated every 6 months.

I honestly haven't seen a DS pair for a minute, can't imagine how much those are going for. Tbh these are in pretty damn good condition except for a little heel drag on the left. I'd post pics but Jon wears my size, gotta watch my back.

There are shoes that looks good in pic but looks bad when worn, also depends how it's worn.

Man I cant believe people are advising you to get the shoes over a new laptop that will serve you better.. if you have to ask get the laptop not the shoes, please. More importantly 2300 for USED shoes is ridiculous.

He did say he had a laptop he bought a few years ago that is still serving him well so obviously just like the shoes, the new laptop is a WANT not a NEED.

So really it really is "an item that isn't produced anymore and isn't going to be available all the time" versus "an item that gets updated, upgraded and a new and better version is released every 6 months to a year". Without knowing what item is which, what would you choose? Obviously the one that you have less chance of getting later on over the item that will surely be there on the shelves in a year or so or when his laptop breaks down.

You also got to keep in mind this is practically a luxury items thread, you don't have to choose the most responsible of choices so $2k shoes isn't too far fetch.

Now if for some reason LV decides to make those a general release tomorrow, then dude is screwed but I really do not see that happening. :lol:
