Probably normal to NT but to others, oh man the reactions are funny.

It's simply not normal to have towers and towers of shoeboxes and I've come to accept it. |I

where else are you supposed to keep your shoes? in some sloppy bin? keeping the boxes lets you stack your shoes and saves space, it only makes sense

I have a tall rack in my closet where I store my shoes, but still keep the boxes anyway. Absolutely no reason for me to keep them, but I do

Diverting the thread away from sneaks again, but really I'd throw away all my boxes if I had one of these.
LOL JK NO I WOULDNT ID PUT THEM IN A STORAGE UNIT OR SMTH

^^^^ Even if I had that I would never throw my shoe boxes away. Shoes boxes serve a purpose, which is too keep your shoes protected and dust free. It makes no sense why someone would not keep the box ,unless the intent is to run their shoes down to the ground then throw them away, then I can somewhat understand. However, that it appears to be the reality for most. I have some shoes that are over 10 years old from the time I bought them and are almost looks like the day I got them but have been worn.

Oh yeah and to the dude Gabe, man I feel horrible for you. I know I would be heated about paying almost $2400 for that condition. I have learned over the years that you can't trust people's rating of things. Stuff that is actually like a 3 they will say is an 8. :smh: However, as messed up as it sounds if he gave you pictures of the shoes it's on you.

the dispute thing is iffy, PayPal could go either way
Yeah I know. I once lost 1500 in a PP claim because they said I "couldn't prove I didn't receive anything". The box was empty, no ish I can't prove it, I'd be taking pictures of air, lol. Anyway I'll let you guys know what happens.

You will win the dispute. Losing a dispute as the buyer is very rare (I only know because i've been on both sides).

I had a buyer last year claim that my new Engineered Garments cardigan that I sold him was used (it wasn't) and had wear marks all over it.

He really just wanted a return, I didn't want to deal with it and told him all sales final, so he filed a dispute, said that I misled him about the condition, even though he was lying, and paypal gave him the automatic refund in 24 hours.

The system is set up to protect the buyer for these sorts of things, and whether you're lying or not doesn't really matter. If you dispute with paypal and said you were misled and this was sold under a fraudulent description, you are guaranteed to get your money back.

Just file it now and don't waste time going back and forth with the seller. He knows he's not going to be able to get 2k for these shoes anywhere else and is desperately trying to hold onto it, but Paypal will correct that with the swiftness.

One thing I can't stress enough - ALWAYS pay with your credit card, regardless of whether or not you have money in your Paypal account. Visa/MC will always go to bat for you as a buyer, but Paypal won't give two sh*ts about you if you paid with Paypal funds.

LOL. I said I'd keep y'all updated, well the first update's already in. We had our back and forth through messages, I said I'd open the dispute, I did, he declined the request, everything going as expected. Go to escalate to the claim, failed. Huh? Check the page again, turns out HE escalated the dispute to a claim, saying I have buyer's remorse and I'm making unreasonable claims. The most interesting part, in the claim message he said I posted to NikeTalk, quoting how I could probably sell them on eBay and that I had buyer's remorse in my posts. Man it just gets more and more interesting. But c'mon son, is it really that unreasonable? I mean c'mon he's worn them so much he practically waxed the suede with his hand-grease.

Anyway, I'll keep y'all in the loop. This is so much comedy to me, only regret is we couldn't come to a reasonable agreement. Can't believe he's lurking NT now LOL.

If you're lurking, **** you and everyone you love for getting over on our boy, b :smh:

You still have the difference between his pictures and yours on your side though, just make sure you have the pictures he sent you saved.

Wow what an a**hole.  Paypal is a pain with this but you'll probably be able to win since they almost always side w the buyer. It seems this guy might be a step ahead in his attempt to screw you over though so be careful with this jerk. You should call Paypal up and explain/offer to send pics cus that usually get things done quicker.  Hopefully he just gets hit by a bus since it seems the world might be better off without this guy, or at least maybe he'll read all these posts and realize hes a peice of ****.  I recently almost got scammed trying to buy a pair of Bred 1s.  The guy never even sent me them though so I called paypal and got my money back real quick. So many scumbags on the internet these days.

So he sold kicks that are more beat up than he let on. That's one of the risks of buying used kicks. Good luck with that

sorry to hear that bro..... brought my pair. the right foot had a stain... but i brush it  and came out fine...

Hold up, that doesn't make sense?  So if you have a storage/clear box system to keep your shoes protected and dust free, what's the purpose of still having the shoeboxes since you wouldn't be keeping the shoes in them?  The assumption is that most people who'd pay for that significant box system is doing so because they don't intend to run their shoes into the ground.
