am I supposed to mail my jeans to some stranger? then they gonna want to charge me an arm and a leg lol I'd rather learn how do to it myself, a few cuts here and there shouldn't be a big deal

It's crazy that you said that at least in regards to Balenciagas because the times I've worn each of mine I realize there's entirely NO CUSHIONING what's so ever. Feel like I'm standing on bricks.
Is it the same no cushioning on both the Arenas and the pleateds? I've been slacking on getting a pair but that would be a dealbreaker for me.

Same for both. I own them both and they are pretty bad if your day / night involves walking. IMO they are far worse than even cheap chucks. I'm going to try and experiment with the lunar sole inserts of my hyperfeels the next time I wear them.

I still cant believe the majority of people in here told that dude to get used sneakers for $2500 instead of a laptop.. thats crazy. Sorry to hear that happened to you and sorry that you listened to peple in this thread.

This is a shoe forum, and a thread for designer shoes at that. What did you think the answer would be? He had a laptop, you walk in a store and buy a laptop anytime you want, the longer you wait the cheaper and/or faster the laptop will be. The shoes we recommended based off his one picture cost over $1000 when released 5 years ago and they aren't making any more.
What !? Maybe you have some weird shaped feet or arch. I wore my pleated cotes all over London, walked miles and they felt good. I have worn them out to bars and stood on my feet all day and they felt fine.

Well I guarantee you if we knew the true condition of the shoes everyone that said to cop the shoes wouldve either told him to go with the laptop or just save his money for something else

So you can only make a $2,500 purchase if you can afford to make two $2,500 purchases. That's some dumb logic right there. People with disposable income can be smart at the rate that they spend said income. You don't need to blow 5 grand even if you can, or want too.
Looking at your previous posts and threads you post too, this isn't the thread for you. You seem to like to argues with people on the interest, or express your opinion as right. This thread is for people who love designer shoes as much as Nike's.

i do everything but argue. I love designer shoes as well.. I was the same guy complaining a few pages back about how my Balenciagas came damaged from France,so stop. It seems like dude was making a sacrifice to either buy the shoes or the laptop.. its not about him having five grand. im not the only person who stated he probably shouldnt have bought the shoes . He already has a perfectly fine working laptop, he didn't have to make any sacrifices. He didn't miss a rent/mortgage payment, his kids didn't go hungry. No one thinks he should have bought the shoes anymore. I may be a little too over protective of this thread, that happens when you are passionate about something.
I'm more concerned as to why the buyer even thought about keeping them when he finally received them.

I took the sole out and it's pretty thin with little cushion. The soles themselves are pretty hard. To be fair I only worn mine once and I usually wear flyknits which are some of the most comfortable shoes out there.

Yeah, the stock sole was fine for me, the arenas are too big 44 or to small 43 so I can't speak to those. If I wore a pair of shoes a lot I might look at replacing the insoles but I have a pretty good rotation and don't want to have to buy and/or swap out 40 pairs of insoles.

LOL. Geez a lot of posts almost exclusively about what happened. Just to clear things up, @Cronicmolemolereturns it's not that I had to choose between the two because of financial strain, I just don't like spending 5+ grand in less than a day on multiple things I don't actually need. Was just splurging, figured I'd get just the one.
@show time 96 The reason I didn't know which way to go is because it's still a tough call. I love all the LV collabs, and they're hella rare to come by in that size, but they definitely were beat and not what was pictured. Kinda like if someone sold you a Lamborghini Reventon, and you took a gamble without knowing how many miles it had on it and it ended up having 250k miles on it. On the one hand, it's an ultra rare car. On the other hand, it's nearing it's limit. So y'know.
@DiPlOmAt TDOt I might post them once I get a result for the PayPal dispute. Gotta be careful with what I post now that I know he's watching.

Those things are beat man. Not sure why someone could think they could pass those of as 9/10. I know there are two sides to every story, but those look like like someone played ball in them, outdoors. Paypal's decision would make no difference to me. Unless you paid with a credit card that has kardashian or Russell Simmons on it you're good.
