Hey do any of these come with the smooth leather on those side panels or do they all have that like textured leather with the bumps on it that u see on the mints?

I know a lot of people hated on these but I actually really like them and that colorways my favorite. Awesome pickup!

These came in. Pretty impressed with the leather quality. I like them, look low key compared to my balenciagas (those still more impressive though). Not a big fan of the elastic slip cover. Wish they had a traditional bag.
 
mr.100 or someone who owns those Margielas can you comment on the quality.. or what material they are made of. They seem like they feel like bedroom slippers.
 
Saw some jimmy choo boat shoes at bergdorf today, they were :smokin. I'll try and find a pic once I get home to post up over here. I like a lot of his shoes, sucks that half of them are too narrow for my foot
 
No they aren't Suede. They are flat matte leather (think jogger pants leather). Overall they are comfortable (much more compared to balenciagas) and fit true to size. Don't see them as bed room slippers but they aren't a chunky shoe if that's what you are looking for. Definitely need fitted jeans.

I coulda posted a fit pic lol, I had all white ones sold em a little while ago. I might have a pic in my phone somewhere in my phone.

I usually like Kanyes style but he literally looks like a girl here lol, handbag and all. we can find better for those kicks lol

it's it's leather but it's weird, very unique. kinda looks and feels like nubuck but it's not

hey mart da god did you sell them before or after the "kanye effect" becuz i couldve sworn i saw that  popular style MMM on the bay going for sub 350 a little under a year ago. did you get a good resellers price or were u just trying to get rid of them?

I sold em right after Christmas. trust me I did not want to sell, those are like my favorite shoes but they were too big cuz I was a noob and the seller was not honest about how they fit. I was surprised how much interest I was getting for them, I thought I was gonna have a hard time selling them, I put them up late at night and was getting offers before I went to sleep :lol:. sold them for $600 worn not including shipping

I didn't think kanye wearing em on the yeezus tour would have that much effect since he's worn them before and you wouldn't have seen them on kanye unless you saw pics of him on tour. but maybe it did idk. I think why you saw them going for so cheap tho was because they were on yoox for like $300 around that time, people were probably trying to flip them unsuccessfully
 
Feels like nubuck, picks up lint like nubuck because it is nubuck...

It's nubuck leather just seems to be sanded to the point it feels like a very soft leather/nubuck combo.


Weirdest material to describe.
 
anyone know how the saint laurent boots feel?

i wear size40 saint laurent sneakers...bought a saint laurent sz40 boot (leather) seems to be rather tight? shoe size is technically speaking perfect

however, the upper (its a high top boot) seems to run agaisnt skin? will this leather loosen up you think?

am thinking of buying the SLP brown boots from last season off ebay...

If I remember correctly the original red pair (maybe all original pleateds) just had smooth leather.

I believe the violets had two main drops.  The first release featured the bumpy back panel and bigger pleats, while the recently re-released pairs have the smooth back panel and smaller pleats.

I was hoping the same but as soon as sizes starting to sell I just bought them. I didn't know who else sold them and figured they would sell before a sale.
