How comfortable are balenciaga pleateds? I see alot of people are saying they are uncomfortable.

Already got refunded by paypal for my "basicgarments" orders. Will just stick with known retailers from now on just like always. Only reason I sprung for them wasn't so much the price difference... but the availability!

Think Balenciaga will have the red Arenas up on their website for order next week or so?

in my opinion they are much more comfortable than arenas. I wouldn't say they're more comfortable then like some nikes but they aren't bad at all. But that might just be that I'm like in between a 44-45 in arenas and a 45 in pleateds is perfect. So when I size down to a 44 arena they are tight but a 45 looks huge. It's weird how big of a difference one size is

more comfortable then arenas lol. I think most designer shoes are uncomfortable compared to Nikes but Balenciagas especially. feels like if you wear a sneaker without an insole

If your shoes are not too snug and have a little room to play with, I usually put a pair of Roshe's insoles in them. Give them a try, it's like walking on clouds!

I have no problem wearing any of these shoes unless they aren't sized right and even then it'll have to be sized 2 sizes too big or a size too small.

I think most of your feets are just too accustomed to Nikes and Jordans than wearing something that doesn't have a lunar or air insole with a thicker sole feels uncomfortable? Wearing these sneakers tends to feel like a more cushioned pair chucks, which are very comfortable to me.

I think they are better for people with flat feet like chucks

Not sure if this has been talked about before, but  I know a few pages back someone wondered about the wax deteriorating on the laces of certain shoes. Well  I replaced my strings on my buscemi with gold tipped red leather strings from AGLIT ITALY. It gives a more luxy look to the shoes as well as keeping the wax look. Im thinking about adding them to a few other joints I have. Im pretty impressed with them. The Buscemis should have came with leather strings in the first place it seems so stock with the leather laces.  I know the buscemis are over the top for some people but its a nice looking shoe IMO. I really wanted the red arenas but got itchy pockets and got these; now the damn arenas are dropping in a week or so. I guess im not patient enough like pops used to say haha.  I attached a few pics of the leather strings VS the ones the waxed ones the buscemis come with.  One.

I don't have flat feet and they are perfectly fine for me. I mean if I were traveling and will do a lot of walking then it probably wouldn't be my first choice but I've gone shopping and walked around in malls and outlets for hours without a problem.

I don't know, I think people with flat feet are the minority and majority of people find most of these shoes comfortable. Some might be more comfortable than others like Margiela GATs though but almost all pairs I own aren't killing my feet at all.

@fjjames I honestly don't see the difference
Thats kinda like the point to have it looking like the regular laces, the leather ones have gold tips homie. The leather obviously would keep its waxed look longer than the cloth strings was the whole point.

Normally Barney's gets pairs..  Mr Porter gets them from time to time as well..  And Neiman Marcus..  But I have always picked mine up off balenciaga's website..  Keep an eye on the site they usually drop without warning..  Good luck..
