Believe it or not I picked up all 3 other then arenas for more then half off of retail. Check ur outlets for Pradas they will Def have them

Thanks man! Yea I don't know why I didn't think of that now that u said it. I'm just worried cause he had zero selling feedback and any other shoes he had listed were nikes in a different size. O well I figured I would take a shot bc eBay and PayPal would hopefully have my back.

I put myself on the list for the Bred SLP's on both YSL stores in NYC.. I then called the store and added myself to the one at Bal Harbor in Miami.. I decided to try to add myself to one more list at the store in San Francisco to ensure I get a pair. The lady wanted to e-mail the buyer to ensure that they would have a pair available in my size (39). And if they do she would want a credit card authorization in order to secure the shoe?..

Has anyone had this experience getting on the list for SLP?

For those that are on these lists I would call the stores to follow up to see whats happening because it looks like this shoe will drop anytime within the next week or two.

probably cuz most of those lists are fake and getting on five of them will leave you with no shoes (maybe one if he gets lucky)

rfx and I had this convo a while back in the clothing thread in particular about hermes berkin bags. The lists are all imaginary and it is a form of prejudice by giving the good items to people who have more/spend more money. Basically weeding out the lower class from shopping there

Thats precisely how I felt..  I felt like when I called the San Fran store they were actually serious about sending me the shoes.  When I called the other stores they acted like they were saving my name to a list but not really.  The lady from the San Fran store said she will call me this evening.. If she doesn't I am calling every store in the country until someone takes a credit card auth and guarantees a pair for me. 

At the end of the day I just want the shoes.. I live in the DMV area and there isn't much choice as far as high end shoes are concerned.  Make you wonder though.  If that practice of weeding out people who they presume to be lower class is true..  They don't deserve my money...

JackStacks said he got it from France store but had to get it shipped to a Norwegian store because the France store can't ship to the US for some reason) and then they shipped it to him in the US. Just backtrack 1-2 pages and you'll see his post about them.

Check out Euro stores that has a website like MatchesFashion and LuisaViaRoma if they have it, they'll ship to the US if they have them.

Thanks for almost clearing that up. Haha.

Black and gold was a limited Euro only release. SLP stores in the US didn't even have a clue it existed when I asked. I talked to several euro stores who didn't get get it and was told by SLP they were not available to order.


I got them from shoebaloo in the Netherlands, they don't ship to the US so I used a concierge service based out of the UK. It took a long time and they are the only place not completely sold out. For those that really want to get a pair they only have 1 in each of the sizes left 43, 43.5, and 45. Expect to spend $950-1000 for a pair. Good luck guys.
