someone told me they could get 50% if I gave them some notice but I don't think that jackets in my price range even with that discount

The Macy's F&F usually have exclusion to some brand. Last time they had it, they wouldn't let me use the discount on some Penguin and Ben Sherman clothes. The discount can't be used on colognes either but for the most part, the sale is good for almost anything in the store.
Maybe they dont let you use it on higher end designer stuff...but my girl used to use it on marc jacobs all the time and no problems. maybe the cashierwas being an *+* to you.
LaceDemUp how did you find a 58? Ive been looking for bigger sizes in the black but never seem to have luck. I never have luck with anything from Gucci orLV they can never find the size i want.

No sale on this jacket unfortunately. I really wanted this when it first came out several months ago and was going to buy it the next week and they soldit. I'm between a 54/56 in Gucci jackets, I just wanted a little extra room for a thin hoody underneath or v-neck sweater. The size 58 is rare so I justhad to jump on it. I wear a size large in Polo, and with the European sizing you need to go up 2 sizes as far as the clothing. It's kinda funny becauseyou go up in sizes in clothing and you go down in sizes in the shoes
The T-shirt was $195. It's a nice and clean basic T for me and I'll know I'll get good use out of it, plus it's a timeless piece. Nowadays, T-shirt's like Ed Hardy and Christian Audigier are running like $146. I'm not into those anymore. I bought 2 T-shirts 3 years ago (they arenice but everyone is wearing them now). Time to move on.

Yes it's a lot of money, but I saw it as an investment in my wardrobe. This jacket will NEVER go out of style IMO. Plus it's simple and will gowith a lot. If I ever choose to sell it (I know I probably won't), I know I could still get good money for it. Trust me, this will be ROCKED unlike theshoes in my closet that I just stare at

But you never know, their sale at the beginning of the month should be good and they have some nice lightweight jackets right now. I wish I had that connectyou have.
I have leathers from Hugo Boss, Versace, Theory, Donna Karan, and such but...All I can say is I LOVE this leather jacket!

I think they exclude it for what they call "contemporary" items. It's weird because only Penguin, Ben Sherman and other brands like itare excluded while John Varvatos, Hugo Boss, Versace, Theory, D&G. etc... are all eligible in the sale.Originally Posted by BgL2687

^^^ They wouldn't let me use it on any fine jewelry either. Well, they allowed me to use it on Burberry watches but not on Tag Heuer's. But yeah, lasttime they wouldn't let me use it on Penguin & Ben Sherman. I even went to 3 different counters with 3 different cashiers and none of them would give itto me. Sucks but oh well. I'll give them a call right now and see if I can buy a Tag this time around.

You should be able to use it...try the Beverly Center...I have the invite in front of me...This invite supersedes all others. The other events or coupons inthe past have more exclusions. It only happens twice a year. Also check out Bloomingdales for their Friends and Family.

So to those who wants the DiorHomme hight tops like AirMurphy has, you can call Barneys NY and buy it presale with the discount and they will ship it out on Monday. It's the perfecttime to get the Lanvin's as well. DAMN! This is very difficult to pass up.
To thise kooking for Moncler, Barneys should have some as well. And to the one guy looking for a discount on the white high top Diors, this is a good chance tobuy it as well.
