If you're not in LA, you can ship them shoes also. For around $60, they do a full cleaning and waterproofing in about a week. I got an oil stain on mine, and they used heavy-duty cleaners to get it out, then dyed the spot that had lightened back to its original color. Definitely recommend them and take all of my shoes there.
 
Zamn, got the worst luck. Sold some Arena's a month ago. Delivered 3 weeks ago. Sent him a message saying I hope he enjoys them two weeks ago. Caught a body bout a week ago week ago. Anyway this week he just opened an unauthorized transaction dispute against me, I'm like bruh, a box with Balenciaga's shows up at your house 3 weeks ago and you get an email talking about the transaction and you only now open a case saying you weren't expecting any of it? Smh. Knowing my luck I'm bout to lose though.

Someone did this to me a couple of weeks ago. Luckily I take photos of all my shipping slips and I had extensive chat history on eBay with the purchaser so Paypal sided with me. I was worried though.

Happened to me a few times, all you need is a tracking number and I aways do signature confirmation, then paypal will side with you.
 
Got to put insurance as well. If the item is $250+ and not insured, Paypal will side with the buyer.


Not sure if they increased the price now or if that rule is still in effect but a few years back that happened to me, though I was the buyer. Item was lost but the seller didn't insure and it was more than $250 and Paypals rule was to insure anything valued that much. I don't think the seller tried to scam me though but was glad it was hassle free on my end for the simple fact that the seller didn't insure the package.
 
In case of a lost item you might need insurance but it is unlikely for packages to just disappear. For something 500+ I'd probably insure it though.
 
It's happened before. Sometimes it gets delivered to a different address or sometimes the delivery guys just toss your package over the gate or leaves it int he front door, it's way too easy for someone to just grab and run with it. That's why insurance and signature are essential. Don't try and save that extra dollar on a signature confirmation, when I send USPS I actually ask for the signature confirmation that gets mailed back to me.
 
Anybody have any idea of Balenciaga will re-release their pleated sneakers? I'm surprised at how few pairs there are of even that black pair that sat on their website for a long time.

My understanding is that they were done with Pleateds, at least in the simple colorways.
 
I'm thinking of buying the green stingray arenas in the next week or so, I need some green shoes in my closet

If you are referring to the vert anglais, then those are my favorite pair of arenas.  Not only do they wear out at a much slower pace, they get the most compliments out of any other shoe I own, and I have LOTS of arenas.

You won't be disappointed.  I know Barney's Beverly Hills has them still, they do phone orders also.

What's sizing like on SLP Court Classic joints? :nerd:

If I am a 43 in CP achilles, 43 in Pleateds, and 42 in Arenas, should I be copping TTS and sticking with a 43 ?

Yeah those are the ones I'm talking bout and they are still available at my local neimans but thanks for the tip
