Crazy how different someone's foot can fit in a shoe. I'm a 40 in Arenas but a 42 in MMM and Geobaskets.

I'm a 41 Arenas, 42 in MMM Future, 42 in Krissvanassche multilace hightop and 42 in SL/10h. I noticed on the ysl website, they recommended sizing down for sl/01. Any thoughts?

Ughhh as much as i hate to say it never buy a YSL shoe directly from Saint Laurent if you can get the same shoe elsewhere.
Their no return policy and 10 day exchange for in store purchases is offensive. Especially when ysl.com offers free returns and exchanges for 20 days.
I will stick with Barneys for future Saint Laurent purchases.

Happened to me a couple weeks ago. Just be sure your address is verfifed and pay with a credit card. You shouldn't have any issues since you're the buyer. You're totally covered.

Personally I'd ask him to send you a detailed invoice on the item you're about to purchase. I only ever do PayPal transactions through invoice. Also if you're the buyer, make sure you only ever have them ship to your confirmed address listed on your PayPal account, can't stress the "confirmed" part enough. If you want to pay with a CC so you can chargeback just in case of a scam, that's cool, but generally PayPal sides with the buyer anyway since they generally have sufficient proof.

Like someone stated, one of my clients is related to the owner of Kering, she gets 50% off anything that Kering owns. The sl01 studded went on sale for 50% off, and her discount got her an additional 50 off so I got them for 150, she also got me some black lows but I haven't grabbed them from her.
I can ask around, but those are pretty much done.

It's just a classic and old style moccasin sneakers. It also helps that it isn't very common and it is built and executed well (probably the best executed of it's kind?).
Look at it this way, there are a huge following on Clarks Wallabees too so it's just all preference in the end.
