Santiags are no bueno for me. Only those "true" Saint Laurent dudes pulling that ish off lol

#teamHedi

lol, actually going to get a pair in the next couple weeks. They've grown on me a ton.

Been wearing these SLP Harness Chelseas nearly daily, a lot more comfortable than my Wyatt boots:

What exactly is the difference between those and the Wyatts? Looks like the heel is lower? Different toe shape? They're Chelsea boots, do they have the ankle webbing?

I reviewed the first post of this thread but didn't see anything.. Do you guys know any other websites like http://www.endclothing.com/brands/lanvin their prices for lanvin sneakers for example are cheaper than regular retail at like Nordstrom and Nordstrom does price match.. but endclothing doesn't have the color I need to price match. I could order from endclothing but id get hit with a customs fee

I Don't know if these pictures have been posted here yet. Common Projects Chelsea boots... Can't release soon enough
400

400

Also, I noticed that in this picture they don't have a back pull tab like in previous pictures. That pull tab is much needed for getting them on easily. I hope they didn't get rid of them.

They look nice! I was pumped for these until I heard bottega was re releasing their Chelsea boots. I'll be getting those instead.

Is that a picture of the newest release Al?

I've personally prefer the CP's. Aside from the obvious price difference, from the few pictures we've seen, I like the overall shape better and the fact that they don't have that seam on the inner foot.

Just can't justify that much on something with crepe soles (this is my stance for both CP and BV). Joints will wear down...then what ?

Least with SLP I can resole them.

edit: looking at that BV pic makes me think they might be resoleable. But if not done back with them, you likely can only throw a leather sole on it after the fact. You are definitely stuck with CP though.

Well, Clarks desert boots tend to hold up pretty well over the years. Sure, the lifetime will be considerably shorter in comparison to SLP boots but I don't think so much so that the price isn't justified- at least in the case of the CP's, assuming they're under $500. The BV's are overpriced for sure though.

Hmm... Hopefully, TBS will get these so I can get that VAT discount; knock off $110. Not paying over $500 for these.
