Yeah, I'll agree that the color selection isn't the best. I ended up grabbing the grey and green in 45. Even though it's not super versatile, that green just looked damn good in those pictures. We'll see how it goes in person. I did expedited shipping so it shouldn't be long. Worst case o return or sale.

I'm not that hurt about the crepe sole but if BV did CP's tan color way, that would have been a problem.
 
Haha, yeah, I didn't expect the CP's to drop this soon. BV's came out of nowhere and couldn't call a color choice, and then sunny23 sunny23 comes through with gum bottom SL's not helping s*** lol... All unexpected pick ups, I'm on chill mode now though for a GOOD while!

Hahaha

There's nothing really special about the BV's. They're a nice looking hybrid of desert boots and chelsea boots. Boots are a refreshing cop outside of sneakers for me lately and are maybe even more versatile.

I've never seen them in person, so I can't say the quality is worth it just yet (at $840+ I doubt it lol)

Thanks man. That was definitely one of those right place, REALLY right time situations. I always set my searches to newly listed and I caught that auction less than 5 minutes after he posted it and talked him out of the auction and into a paypal invoice.

They should fit exactly the same as your Achilles. Next to my size 39 Achilles here and the boots are 40. Ankle is nice and tight (had to actually use pull tabs) and gives good lock down. These are slightly big on me but my feet arent slipping and sliding. Just a tad long but I think I'll keep them. Suede is slightly different in different parts on my pair. Doesn't bother me though.

I called to get an update my preorder from my BV boutique and was told July. Hmm...not sure if that's the case everywhere
 
As for the suede being different on each part, I would say you probably just need a suede brush and brush the shoe along in the same direction and that should even out the color.
