Got the Common Projects Chelseas on a restock from Barneys. No 16% cash back, but I figure I can always return them if I don't think they're worth it

Probably going to end up swapping for a 44, still got some toebox room with nike socks on so if I'm wearing dress socks it'll be even more room, and they stretch so Id rather stretch a 44 than feel space in a 45
 
Smh. I really need a 39. Sick that I missed out on barneys belling impossible now. Anyone wanna size swap a 39 for a 40 lmk
 
Went to SLP today to confirm sizing on cropped jodhpurs. Likely copping when i get out to France later this week.

Also ended up trying on some of their denim. Got into those weird denim/leather biker joints....barely made it out of them though :lol:


That being said, I see that the regular 15.5cm joints fit great on me. Tried on a super distressed pair and fell in love....so basically those might need to be acquired abroad as well :smokin
 
i just got an email from a pretty popular shopper consultant on the CPs. Dude said 795 plus shipping. I can't hate on any of these personal shoppers it's a good hustle.

Ppl willing pay over for in demand Nike or Adidas same goes for luxury shoes makes sense.

These SLPs squeak a lot. At least my pairs do. Have me sounding like George Costanza except with shoes outchea

Haha, funny you mention that. I just noticed my gum bottom SL10's squeak a lot yesterday. I haven't noticed any with the others though

Are the gum bottoms you're speaking of the suede ones? My leather pairs are squeaking when the tongue rubs the upper.

my balenciagas squeak a lot kinda embarrassing

I have to say I have experienced no squeaks with this pair what so ever maybe I got lucky.. although now you mention it, I do remember having a pair of dunk sbs that done this, it very annoying indeed, the solution to this problem was to pull out insole, apply a little baby powder then replace the insole. Squeak gone, This solution though is obviously useless to you, given that you mentioned the sound is coming from a completely different location within the shoe, knowing that you own multiple pairs of the 10s also means that this is not an isolated incident, which is a real shame, fingers crossed the more you wear your pairs, given the time to wear in maybe the squeak will fade. Ps.. Have you tried different lacing options looser vs tighter etc? that MAY help the situation..

Condition the leather or just wear them. The squeak will go away after breaking them in a little.

Yeah, they're the black suede pair. The inner is leather and I think the squeaking will lessen with wear but they do squeak now. Still love them though

Slp squeaks for me too, same location with the tongue. I don't feel my royal pair cutting into my leg anymore after breaking them in. But gotta work on my white/gum pair.
